Mannn this spot is A1. And yes I'm straight woman. It was just good people there, great food, awesome service, a wonderful spirit there, and uniquely different fun on each floor. Im going back. You should try it then go back again too. I like the modern yet cool down to earth atomsphere for everyone yet also their fellow people too. No cap as my students say. Comedy, karaoke, regular music, chilled/quiet section, trivia, and TVs for watch. Mama will be back!
Came here today and had an incredibly RUDE bartender who was not only rude to me but also my friend and partner. We came in during our fest and were immediately summoned by the bartender informing us that we couldn’t be here and play pool for free. We had the intention of having lunch in the bar today, but after being informed that we were required to be drinking in an EMPTY bar, we decided to take our business elsewhere. This bartender was the one on the first floor at 1pm on 10/12/25. Unfortunately this is also not the first time that this employee was rude to us, but as far as I’m concerned we will be recommending to everyone we know to take their business elsewhere. The goal of gay bars is to feel welcomed by people in your community, but today not only did I feel unwelcome, I felt uncomfortable in a place I used to enjoy coming to. 0/10, do not recommend coming here.
This was my first stop on my bachelorette party and the drag show was amazing! Definitely had fun; everyone was so nice and definitely were looking me out telling us where NOT to go. Loved it and the environment.
This 1-star review reflects how bad the food and service is. I understand this is a bar first, but my food orders come out wrong half the time (not an exaggeration) and more specifically, their new tenders and fries since the new ownership are almost gross (again, not exaggerating). The food is edible, but for the price of $13-$20 for a meal I'd expect it to be enjoyable, not just edible. Tenders come out burnt (literally black) the last 2 times I've ordered them on separate occasions. The buffalo chicken options are also very disappointing; the buffalo sauce is too acidic with an odd flavor.
I really want to like this bar, but I just can't. Most of the bartenders are unfriendly, some of them are downright rude, and the drinks are usually weak. They do karaoke regularly, which is great, but the sound system is absolutely terrible. That's not an exaggeration, it is truly god awful to the point that you can barely hear the person singing, the treble and bass are so out of whack. You're better off going to U Bar next door.
Came here after Pride Festivities in the streets and it’s a huge place!! Didn’t have a cover when we went. Friendly bartenders and good service. Food is good bar food!! I had the chicken Caesar wrap and buffalo wings, which were incredibly tasty. Multiple levels with bars, karaoke all the way upstairs with some outdoor space. Will definitely be back!
Got a burger and literally could not finish it. Not one to look down on bar food but this was pretty next level rough. First floor was pretty empty and it kind of seemed like the bartenders had their own groups of friends and/or usuals they’d rather serve. Their drink menu wasn’t on their website, (probably broken or glitched currently) when I asked our tender what they had bottled/on tap she said to check the online menu and went back to her group. Told her the menu was down, she just told me it wasn’t. Wouldn’t tell me what they had. As an ex tender I was pretty surprised. Sticking to BikeStop.
