Jelly Roll's Goodnight Nashville

We dined upstairs at Buddy's Backroom. Dustin, our host, bartender and server was phenomenal! From the minute we walked in he made a point to take care of our every need! We couldn't have asked for better service! And the food!!! My goodness it was so good. I definitely recommend the Sweet Potato Poutine!! We will be back, often!

We visited Nashville end of November. Jelly Rolls was on the list as a must go to! Atmosphere was great, live band was amazing but the food was just ok. The pasta with breaded chicken on top was the best, but the rest of my group was extremely disappointed with their meals. Drinks were small and extremely expensive. I'd visit again for the vibes but would pass on the food

This is probably the best venue I visited the entire weekend I was here with my girl and friends. The lady from the band could easily outperform many artists out on the radio today. She has such range and incredible energy. Came here on 2 different nights while bar hopping the Broadway strip and didn't find a more energetic venue. Loved it.

Friends visited from Pennsylvania and wanted to visit and eat here. The live entertainment is great but in the dining area it was too loud and we couldn’t carry on a conversation. My pizza didn’t have enough mozzarella but was good. Our alcoholic drinks were expensive. My friends are huge Jelly Roll fans, so I made the effort to take them. One thing off their bucket list.

I was surprised that you get a small cocktail for the cost of the drink. It was $16 for a margarita. I was hoping the food would be better than it was. Ordered Mac & cheese with chicken and it came out with a big piece of breaded chicken that looked like fried chicken that wasn’t very good at all. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and it was gross. The bathroom needed a lot of attention as well and even the stalls needed cleaning so we left. There are too many other nicer establishments so I don’t plan on returning there.

Had a fun evening listening to a band! The music was good, love the space around the bar, it was a great space, plenty of seating and service was good! The drinks were strong but didn’t try the food, didn’t know they had food? The atmosphere was jamming!

The Predator may be the best pizza I’ve had on Broadway. Also the chicken strip basket comes in at about $14 with homemade gravy as well. Ever since the stage was built it’s been great for the atmosphere and vibe if you sit close to the drum kit it may be louder than you expect and of course this is also just the general vibe for Broadway - it is loud- this is music city not carry on a conversation city or I can’t hear my football game city. Music is loud in most of the bars- if you ask to be sat near the merch area it will be a lot less in your face. The staff is also awesome here. Extra security at the front to make for a safe environment inside. If the second floor is open it is one of my favorite level 2 bars down the whole street- sound and looks wise.
