Karaoke night at Wild Rover was an absolute blast! I went with a group of friends and we had an unforgettable time. The energy in the room was electric — everyone was singing their hearts out, cheering each other on, and just vibing together like one big party. The crowd was super fun, the staff kept the drinks flowing, and the DJ kept the night moving with an awesome lineup of songs. As a guy, I’ve gotta say… I definitely caught a few other guys checking out my butt, which honestly just added to the wild and carefree fun of the night. No complaints — the whole atmosphere was playful, inclusive, and full of good vibes. If you’re looking for a place to let loose, sing badly (or brilliantly), and make some memories, Wild Rover is the spot. We laughed, we sang, we danced, and we’re already planning to come back again. 10/10 night.
Went to Wild Rover last night, Gabby the bartender made the night fantastic. She was very welcoming, efficient and kept me laughing the whole night. Her drinks were delicious, made sure my water glass was always full and all while helping to train a new hire behind the bar. 10/10 would recommend and will absolutely be returning
Extremely disappointed with the bouncer and security here. Terrible place to have a great night out. Context is, we went during Halloween. We bought pub crawl tickets beforehand, the entire thing costing our group after 120$. We were on the line for almost an hour because of the painstakingly purposefully slow manner the bouncer took to scan everything despite the floors on all three levels being so empty no one was dancing or having fun. Yea we saw their faces. One of our members went to the front to ask if we would still be admitted if being in the line would make us miss the check in time past 9. The bouncer confirmed. When we got to the front of the line, we were then told by this gentleman that we missed the check in time and would need to pay 20$ IN CASH if we wanted admission or to go and track down one of the men giving out the orange wristband. We said hell nah to the cash (excuse me why do we have to pay extra after paying hella for the wristbands?) and then tracked down a person who very kindly gave us a wristband . Then he brought us to the front of the line so we can get admitted, and this bouncer said 'these people be lying bro you gotta be careful out here!' Why did he call us liars just to save face because we successfully tracked down a man giving out orange wristbands instead of coughing up 20 CASH EACH? He thinks he's reallllllly something. we made it in because we were not going to back down. what a nightmare and I hope yall use the money you steal from other customers whether it be from wristbands or 20$ CASH EACH to go and give your bouncers and security some GOOD TRAINING to teach them how to ensure that CUSTOMERS RETURN and buy your 15$+ cocktails cause ain't nobody here for the pathetic vibes or the mid music in the basement and third floor.
Tried to go there for the Halloween bar crawl. Was treated with the utmost disrespect. When I asked for their names they refused to give me them and ignored me. Trust me I’m not one for negative reviews but when I feel I’ve been disrespected I need to say something. Would 100% not recommend this place unless you want to get harassed by 20 year old bouncers on a power trip…,
It’s a fun bar on the weekdays, the weekend staff don’t know how to handle a crowd. They only take cash for their covers when all bars in Boston take card and the lady taking the cover shoved me out of the way while I was trying to explain I already paid to get in. We were charged for shelf tequila when we asked for well. Overall, on the weekends? Not it. Try on the weekends though, fried pickles kinda eat.
This place is nothing great, food not good, went to an event there no prosecco no bubbly at 630p Incredibly HOT no ventilation, people getting sick from the heat, I would definitely not recommend having any kind of event or gathering there , When an event is scheduled they should have at least stocked the bar and have not ran out of anything especially at 630pm on a Saturday night I will definitely not be going back there and do not recommend
Wild rover is great. Karaoke at night often 7 nights a week. Open till 2am. Good food and drink. Friendly staff.
