Dropped by Spybar for some after-dinner drinks and loved the overall vibe. My partner really enjoyed the Lime Wire, and I went for the honey-based cocktail — fantastic! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed night out, with soothing music at just the right volume so you can chat comfortably. The drinks were tasty, though I wish the garnishes had a bit more flair, especially compared to a place we visited earlier (the one above, which is also has the same owner). Prices are on the higher side (about $22 per drink after taxes and tips), but for the cozy setting and mellow energy, it’s worth it for a special evening.

Spy Bar is such a hidden gem! It’s located right near Cosmica, and once you step inside, it really gives off a cool speakeasy vibe; with its chill lighting, great atmosphere, and an inviting energy. I went on a Friday night, and they had a live DJ playing smooth, laid-back tracks that set the mood perfectly. The music added to the fun without being overpowering, so it was easy to talk and hang out with friends. The bartenders know their craft. The drinks were top-notch-, and the staff as a whole was super friendly and welcoming. And the tacos? Amazing. They’ve got a variety to choose from, and each one I tried was flavorful, fresh, and way better than your average bar taco. Between the vibe, the drinks, and the food, this place is definitely worth checking out. Will definitely be coming back!

Came here for drinks and dessert. The food was okay and the drinks were unique. It gives off a 70s vibe with a disco ball, dim lighting and a great dj spinning some classics. Will come again, for only drinks and the vibe.

Absolutely love this place! It's really quite an experience to walk into a place that has been thoughtfully created around the acoustics. We got there early before it was too busy so we could really hear the clarity of the quality speakers, appreciate all the sound dampening, and the vibe was super cool. The food was clean and fresh. The clarified drinks were the perfect pairing with the clarity of sound in the space. And the curated playlist was "a thing". All songs I've never heard but kept wanting to know who the artist is because it's so good. Definitely recommend.

I love the decor and the live music. The place is perfect size and has extremely clean modern bathrooms. This is a place for late night vibes for drinks and small plates. Short rib tacos are amazing. My waitress could have been better. She forgot a drink order, and on the bill already pre selected 24 percent tip. That's for the patron to select. She was kind of tall and kind of built. Walks very powerful almost in a rush. Everyone else was really nice and attentive. Drinks could be stronger. Great seating across the entire place ans also great acoustics and live band.

Spy bar is for the vibes! This place has been thoughtfully designed and the music wasn’t crazy loud even though it’s a listening bar. I love that more of such concepts in the restaurant space are popping up in Boston. Loved the drinks but wasn’t sold so much on the guacamole. The whipped feta was great but felt minuscule in terms of portion size. I felt that the price point was a little too steep but maybe that’s just me.

This place is such a gem! Came here for dinner on a Thursday with my husband. They just started doing Thursday service so it was just us for most of our time there. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the DJ’s funk, soul, etc music was amazing, and the best part was we could enjoy the music and hear each other. The drinks were great, and they have a good menu of tacos and other bar food. Definitely recommend for people looking for a relaxed night out!
