Went here for a couples massage with my husband. He loved the Signature Combination massage - though the pressure felt intense in the moment, after the massage he was very relaxed. I took the Swedish massage which was also quite nice. Both of us observed that our usually-tensed muscles in some target areas became super relaxed. We were also given an annivery Prosecco and chocolates to celebrate the occasion, alongside the regular welcome tea. There was no pressure to tip either (although we ended up leaving a good tip as we loved the experience). We might go back again!

Fantastic experience and very good value. I’m always nervous going to a spa or massage place without a personal recommendation as I’m not always convinced you can trust google reviews, but I took a chance and am so glad I did. The reception team were so kind and fitted me in quickly without a booking. My massage therapist was brilliant, adjusting her technique for my horribly knotted shoulders, and I left feeling taller, lighter and so relaxed! Fantastic hidden gem (no signs outside, look for the door number) which had a couple of other people leaving their appointments as I was waiting for mine and they were both very happy, too. The whole team were kind, helpful, friendly and there’s no pressure to tip or leave a review, but the service is so good, you’ll obviously want to do both 🙂

We enjoyed our first 2 visits to Banyan Tree Thai Spa, which makes our 2/19 visit even more disappointing. Fifteen minutes into our 90-minute couples deep tissue massage, I saw my husband’s therapist, Lydia, typing on a lit smartphone while leaning over him. When she realized I saw her, she hid the phone under the sheets. There is no version of this that is acceptable. Texting during a paid massage is blatant misconduct. It didn’t stop there. My husband repeatedly asked her to focus on his neck and shoulders and avoid his feet. His requests were ignored. The technique was lazy and mechanical – repetitive forearm circling with little to no pressure, despite asking for deep tissue. He left feeling like he didn’t receive a massage at all. When we raised the issue, the owner acknowledged the behavior was "unacceptable" yet offered only a 25% discount – as if actively texting during a massage, ignoring repeated client requests, and delivering a substandard service were minor inconveniences. This wasn’t just a bad massage. It was a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. We will not be returning.

I loved my experience at Banyan Tree! The staff was so kind and accommodating. The hot stone massage was lovely and the massage therapist was attentive and responsive. The space was clean and tranquil. I will definitely come back!

I don’t really do social media or reviews, but sometimes good things need to be shared. Part of me is nervous that this place will become too popular and I won’t be able to get an appointment, but hey… celebrate and share excellence. A trip here is so much more than.a basic massage. The attention to detail in the treatments it outstanding. An incredible healing experience.

Such an incredible place to get a massage. We went for Valentines Day. The deep tissue got the best points in my back. Just overall a great experience. The staff are so attentive and generous. I would come back

It was my first time visiting this establishment and I found it on Google Maps. I was spending my birthday in the City. I was able to book and pay a same-day slot online. When I arrived, the lobby and entry experience didn’t prepare me for the luxurious space I was about to enjoy! It was beautiful even though staff were gorgeous! They set up a golden tray with water and a warm moist aromatherapy hand towel. As I was about to enter my session two ladies walked out of their sessions smiling glowing and raving about their experience! I walked out the same way! My 90 minute mixed massage was a full body mixed massage experience that consisted of deep tissue work, stretching, dry and oil massages. My therapist never wavered in pressure consistency. If there are parts of your body for which you need pressure or time length adjustments, I found that my therapist responded to my requests and managed to naturally resume the general desired pressure level I like. After the staff had a birthday tray and champagne awaiting me!
