Crew Club
📍 Gay-friendly spas in Washington
Crew Club in Washington offers a well-equipped facility with decent amenities, but its potential is significantly marred by subpar staff interactions and management issues. The environment, while clean, lacks essential features like a jacuzzi and functional gym, which can dampen the overall experience.
Guest relations are a notable concern, with a tendency towards unreasonable policies and a lack of empathy in customer service. The management style could benefit from a more customer-focused approach. Despite these drawbacks, Crew Club presents an opportunity for improvement, and with better management, it could become a more appealing destination.

My visit here was a disappointment. The facility itself is nice and offers good amenities, but unfortunately all of that is overshadowed by the horrendous staff. In particular, the general manager seems eager for confrontation, rarely listens to customers, and treats them like sources of revenue rather than people. I misplaced my locker key, which is something that can happen in a place like this. However, instead of handling the situation reasonably, I was penalized, pressured to pay additional fees, and made to feel bullied and shamed. No one is interested in taking a locker key home, and housekeeping typically finds misplaced keys at the end of the day or night. There is no justification for punishing customers in such a pitiful and aggressive manner. I found the staff to be inconsiderate, lacking empathy, quick to escalate situations, and enforcing abusive policies. It almost felt as though they were desperate to squeeze more money out of customers. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Business Bureau regarding this matter. Businesses like this should not be allowed to operate by effectively extorting their clients. Customers are your bread and butter. Learn to treat people with kindness, fairness, and basic respect.
A pretty nice experience. The staff might a little bit cold but that's not a deal breaker for me. The sauna room both dry and wet is decent, though I wish they can get a traditional one with hot stone, herb and water that people can add once in a while. The play room is fine, nothing stellar But k got to meet a lot of interesting people to say the least, very enjoyable
Of all the bath house experiences throughout my travel, this one is the best. Generally, the amenities are clean, with sauna, and everything is so lit. So far, no issues for lining up, and also with my small bag unlike my other experience from other bathhouse in another major city which has very condescending customer service. In addition, jam packed with 🔥 💪 so amazing.
To sum up: 200% never coming back! No jacuzzi, no pool, gym not working, steam room not working, snacks service not available, no light in the sauna, no water fountain. Having to pay for a membership when its a one-shot as traveling, plus locker fees, total: 39e. Scam. Staff was rude and not interested in customer experience, not willing to offer discount nor nothing per the facilities not working. Probably due to poor management. Advice to any investors: buy this place and start it over, thats a shame of a place for the capital of one of the most wealthy country in the word. Funny thing, at least a nice plant in the entrance, but looked more like a salad to me 🙂
House policy requires ID presentation, but as well keeping your personal information in their register as member. Completely a mess with discretion. I experienced no sauna in the world with such policy.
Pretty much hit/miss been this month and no action for bttm plus be nice to add sling's or rooms with them plus colored towels to see who's top/bttm/vers and glory holes but nice it's pretty clean and open 24 hours
Too bad that this is the only gay bathhouse in DC. It’s just awful!! The staff are mostly really really rude. It takes forever standing in line until finally you get in. It’s really dilapidated. There’s no jacuzzi… no gym equipment… it needs to be gutted and renovated. The guys who attend are really nice.. I had a good time with the guys once I got in and got past the really really unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Really really nasty people work here. So: attention entrepreneurs: there’s a real opportunity here because you could open another bathhouse and you’d instantly get all the clientele from this place.. you’d probably make a mint… just saying.
