As a floral designer I recently had the pleasure of working at Hotel Emery for a C-suite dinner event, and I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service provided by every member of their team. Tatyana and Jackie supported their client with exceptional professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring every need was met seamlessly. At the front desk, Andy was equally impressive — graciously assisting me with my full floral cart and extending the same warm, attentive service to every guest who entered the lobby. The other event staff were just as lovely too but I didn't get all of their names! The valet team also delivered top-tier hospitality, both upon my arrival and at departure, leaving a consistently positive impression from start to finish. Beyond the impeccable service, the venue itself is truly stunning — elegant, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly suited for high-end events. I was so impressed that I felt compelled to write this review. I highly recommend Hotel Emery for your next event or wedding — you will be in excellent hands.
Location is great service is really good , but rooms, I’ve stayed at canopy before, and there is no comparison. Room has no space for clothes , coffee is really bad quality, room facing a wall, AC or heat can’t be stopped and is really noisy. For the price there is no comparison possible.
We recently stayed for an overnight while in town for the Paul McCartney concert. The hotel is located bocks from US Bank Stadium so walking to an event there is very easy. The hotel is beautifully restored, with the rooms having modern day touches. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was just perfect for two. We found the room clean and quiet. The bathroom was large and well appointed. Plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable. Not much of a view, but you are downtown and we were not there for that anyway. The staff we came in contact with were very professional and friendly. We did valet our car, as we feel when staying in a downtown area that is easiest for us. We had no issues with that and when we called down to get the car it was ready within the promised 30 minutes. We did eat during happy hour at the restaurant in the building and that was very good. We did not try the coffee shop in the building, but I will say that the line we saw on Saturday morning was very long. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and we are looking forward to returning soon.
The public areas and gym are very nice, albeit a little cold during what was an unusually cold spell (-7 to +20 outside). The restaurant has some good dishes, but gets very loud if anywhere near full. The morning coffee shop is good, though the food options are limited. My room (625) was presumably one of the better ones (hotel only 1/4 full and I had Gold Elite status), but was unusually shaped and very dark, presumably reflecting the building's conversion from bank/office to hotel. Ventilation was excellent so let's give the HVAC engineers some credit! The Skyway connection to downtown office buildings was useful.
The valet situation is crazy. Most of the time when you arrive, there's no one to take your car or go retrieve it. They always have 10+ cars parked out front, making it difficult for guests to pull in and out. I watched two people lose it over not being able to find the valet staffer for 15-20 minutes. The people at the front desk acknowledged the issues with the valet and said "what do you want me to do?" This could be a good hotel, but I'm flabbergasted by how chaotic and dysfunctional the valet is. I've never seen anything like it. The front desk are clearly exhausted by it too.
Nice central location with secured access to the skywalk. Plenty of good restaurant options nearby. Valet parking available or underground garage across the street can be set up so you can enter and leave as needed. Lobby and restaurant on first floor are very spacious and lots of plants giving great vibes.
Really had a nice experience. I was in town for three nights for business (federal court house is next door) ,and they did (as I asked) assign me to a quiet room over part of the hotel and bc it was a jr suite it had plenty of room to work and was practical for work trip but… the hotel is also a lot of fun! The bar lobby restaurant and coffee shop are all sort of together in an open design and active. It’s very well designed to create private spaces but also create a very cool atmosphere. I believe it’s a former bank bc you can see the vault. Tons of folks having fun but again practical too. A lot of terrific restaurants in the neighborhood. Only really comment is that breakfast for a hotel this size is limited to a very nice coffee shop but a lot of business folks do sit down for Bfast and I am not certain where to do that nearby. But again what they do do they do really well. I will be back!
