I came to see Tanya through a friends recommendation, I had my first hair appointment here today! Super happy with my hair and have definitely found my new stylist! Tanya did a great consult and listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! She tackled my long dull roots with magic hands and brought my blonde long locks back to life! Also side note - the products she used in my hair smell really good! I highly recommend her! The salon vibe is nice and genuine and I laughed alot today!

We've just moved to Virginia Beach from San Diego for about a month now. I've been been looking for a stylist and researched several places, read the reviews and was very nervous about picking a salon. I was at an appointment and was very impressed with the Representative's (Megan) hair color and asked her who was her stylist. She said it was Barry and he worked just down the street at Tangled Up Salon and that he was AWESOME and Great with hair color. My husband and I actually went to the salon to meet him and make an appointment. We were greeted and welcomed by very friendly staff. I felt very comfortable. Met Barry and had a consultation and made an appointment for the following day. On the day of my appointment I was greeted and welcomed by a very Friendly staff and met the Owner who was very nice too. Barry was ready for me and he did an Awesome and Phenomenal job with my hair color, haircut, and hairstyle. I'm so very excited and pleased with the outcome!!!! Tangled Up is a very Pleasant and Wonderful Salon! I Highly Recommend them to anyone! Thank you Megan for the recommendation and thank you Barry for the AWESOME JOB!!! And I want to mention that they were very nice to my Baby Girl (doggy) who came by to visit.❤️🥰❤️

I got my hair done for the first time by Rae at tangled up. As somebody who has never died their hair I was very nervous about getting it’s colored but Rea herself did an amazing job! She also fixed my haircut by adding fabulous face framing layers that I absolutely love. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. I definitely would recommend going there for any type of hair service’s and asking for Rae!!! The inside of the salon is also very welcoming and cozy (and very clean) as well as all the staff were very nice and friendly! I wish I could give a 100 ⭐️.

I was impressed immediately! Tangled Up Salon has great precautions in place for COVID -19 as soon as I opened the door they took my temperature, cleaned the handle of the door, strongly encouraged me to use the Hand Sanitizer they provide. Every one I encountered that work there was extremely nice and help full. I have to say the real super star was Barry Driscoll - He was very knowledgeable , and help me with color and cut suggestions, making sure I was comfortable during my visit, he even went to the place Next door and got me a coke. My color and Cut are fabulous. And I got to say- Bye Bye to my gray hair. I am now feeling fabulous @ 50. Thank you Barry, I will see you in 6 weeks!

I recently got a haircut at Tangled Up Salon and I couldn't be happier. Nikki was incredibly talented and took the time to understand my vision for the cut. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The shop itself was clean and inviting. I highly recommend Tangled Up Salon to anyone looking for a great haircut.

I went and had my haircut at tangled up. Spent 100$ It was uneven, so I went back and kindly asked to have it evened up. 10$ tip. Go home it's worse than ever. Go back he clearly sees he left out a big chunk of hair. He cuts it again. 5$ tip. I went home and I've never seen such a bad haircut. I called the owner to ask if she would fix it. But she said she would have to charge me another 77$. So I told her I didn't think I should have to pay again. So she said she would call me back, and I never received a call back. I went to someone else who cut my hair again and took pic's of the mess she saw. I'll add those in a min. Needless to say, my hair is so short now. And still not the style I wanted. But to charge 77$ plus tip and when not right wants another 77$ is not very good business practice. She was too busy to take care of a client. They tell me it is bc she has to do paperwork and jobs to keep the salon open. In my opinion, she should lock up and never open again. I'm mad. Yes, I am! She was not very nice and refused to fix my hair. I'm sorry, Barry, but you did not do a good job. I think you can see how bad of a job you did. 3 times you so-called, tried to fix it, and just got worse and worse. Niki, the owner, was NO help at all. I still can't believe how much I was charged for a haircut I could have done better myself. It's sad when people have no desire to do a good job just bc of laziness.
