AJ is an exceptional barber. I make sure to visit him at least once or twice a month because he always delivers great conversation and an even better haircut, skillfully handling all types of hair. I also want to give a shout-out to the owner—keeping this business thriving in today’s economy and state is truly impressive. Kudos to all of you—this is an amazing place to get a haircut if your visiting the Collections.

I had an amazing experience at The Barber Shop with Aaron. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and full of energy. Aaron didn’t just give a great haircut — he made the whole visit an experience. Free beer, great conversation, and nonstop entertainment made it feel more like hanging out with friends than just getting a trim. The attention to detail in the cut was top-notch, and he really takes his time to make sure everything looks perfect. What an experience at the Barber shop in Oxnard. Aaron was so nice and welcoming. He didn’t have my appointment but still made sure that I am attended to. He did a beard trim for me and ensured that the outcome was what i wanted. In the end, he didn’t charge a penny for it .. I couldn’t believe I at all … what an amazing person! He works with real precision and pays close attention to every detail, taking the time to make sure everything is perfect until the customer is 100% satisfied. No rushing, just meticulous work and a result that looks clean, sharp, and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back.

I walked in and there was a barber on his phone with Noone in his chair. He asked if I had an appointment. "No sir." Okay let's check... 45 minute wait. My hair is less than a half inch long and takes 10 minutes to cut. I guess his phone time is more important than earning his pay.

Jackie took care of me and my groomsmen for my wedding this last weekend and I could not say more nice things. Her and the crew really took care of us and went all out to ensure what could have been a stressful day was super relaxing. All of the groomsmen were complimented on our haircuts all night long and Jackie really made sure we looked our best for lasting memories. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Aj is the best barber around. Great conversations or quiet if that’s what is needed, he knows. Always a great cut, listens intently to my requests and gently guides on the parts that would make me ugly. The space is welcoming and cozy. Always offered a beverage, always welcomed when I entered.
