Runa Nordic Spa

Runa was an amazing experience! The staff were lovely, and the studio decor was so cute & added to the relaxing vibe. I found Runa to be a great place to unwind, indulge and relax. This place was different than any other spa I’ve been to - in a good way. They really stretch your muscles out before deeply massaging them, which I enjoyed because normally I am too stiff for just a regular massage. They have a variety of treatments and make you feel very comfortable with anything you choose. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at Runa! I got a stretching massage, which was unlike any massage I had ever gotten before. It was very relaxing, but was somehow active and energizing at the same time. It kind of felt like someone was doing yoga for me! I also had some cupping done, which really released the tension in my back muscles. To be honest, the actual cupping part was more painful than I had anticipated, but I felt incredibly relaxed a few minutes after the cups were removed. Overall, it was an interesting and fun experience! I am excited to go back!

Would 100% recommend! I got the strekke stretch and massage and it was AMAZING! I have practiced yoga for many years and love it but this took it to a whole other level. I felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. Definitely try the stekke if you want a cleanse and to feel like you're on top of the clouds for the next few days! Also I have had a strekke by both Julie and Z, they are both amazing, talented, skilled, and confident in what they do and will make sure you have a wonderful experience!

Wow wow wow! This is the best spa experience I’ve had in Salt Lake. It is clean, relaxing, and everyone I met was helpful and friendly. I have been renovating my house all summer and it’s taken it’s toll on my body. I decided to go to Runa Nordic Spa and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I had a strekke/stretch massage done by Syd. I went in not really knowing what to expect. Syd was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I feel like every part of my body was limbered up. I loved the use of heat on my sore muscles. I waited a few days to leave this review because I wanted to see how it felt after a couple days. I feel amazing, loose, relaxed, and ready to take on more house projects! I will definitely be back to this spa.

Never been much of a spa guy. Decided to take my wife out and treat her to a morning at the spa. Had a friend recommend Runa, and gave it a shot. I opted for a 1 hour treatment by Julie that started with a Hot/Cold assisted stretch that incorporated a hot stone that was amazing. Never felt anything like it. The second half of my treatment, I did the cupping. For this she pinpointed the tight/stressed spots on my back, and focused the cups on those areas. Cups did not hurt, but you could definitely tell they were there. After removing them, I didn't feel all that different. The next day after the treatment is when I really saw the results. Back was loose and super relaxed, almost like a complete reset. Don't know how it works or what it does, but super cool treatment. As for the spa itself, super clean and tidy, as i expected a high end spa to be. Prices are on par with the industry standard from the little I know, but well worth it. Julie did a great job and definitely knew her stuff. Its easy to tell when someone has mastered their craft, and she knows what going on, didn't skip a beat. No bull, just solid/dialed professional treatment. Like I said, not an avid spa goer, but If I find myself going again, it will be an easy choice of where we are headed.

I have been playing softball and been running around a bunch the last few months just being busy and wanted to loosen up, thought I’d give this place a shot and I’m very pleased with my outcome! Their theragun worked great to help my body fully relax. I also opted in for the stretching as well (and let me tell you I’m not a flexible person), but that didn’t hinder the nice stretching felt as it helped my body loosen up in ways I didn’t know were tight. 5/5 very pleased! I also appreciate the essential oils and atmosphere that was presented! 🙌🏼

Just had a wonderful Strekke therapy stretch by Sid and I'm feeling great. She is an experienced yoga instructor and has wonderful knowledge which she applied as she stretched my muscles and I loved her explanations of just what she was stretching and how to make my stretching much more effective.
