Very nice downtown area. You can see many nice buildings along with some fountains.
If you're looking for a place in Downtown Boise to relax outside then you should visit The Grove Plaza. Cool off with a run through the water fountain. Order from the many restaurants in the area then bring the food and drink back here and eat at table. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Visit at night for a light show at the water fountain.
I went to a really good Flower show at the Grove. Saw some stuff that I've never seen before. I spent over 3 hours looking this over.
Successfully renovated in 2017. Great for outdoor events and a meeting place. Throughout the year you will the find holiday market, Farmers Market on Saturdays, Alive after Five socials with live music and a center fountain for kids young and old to play on during the summer months.
Relaxed for a bit after work to people walk back on Halloween, and seen some interesting and creative costumes, especially with adults/pairs.
Ice skating is not worth driving downtown for. The rink is plastic and my kids didn't like it. Another couple said it wasn't great and like they ordered it from temu. They also don't allow your teenager to skate with your younger kids. You have to skate with them. Luckily the manager said it was ok today. We drove from Caldwell... Caldwell is much better. It's a better vibe.
Great place to hang out and watch children play in the fountain.
