Manayunk Chambers Guest House

We had the pleasure of meeting Mark and staying at the Manayunk Chambers just after Thanksgiving. Mark was very accommodating and gracious. We appreciated his knowledge of the area and recommendations. The unique decor was fascinating and exquisite. Breakfast with fresh, deluxe pastries and colorful arrangements of fruit were delicious, and the cappuccino was divine! The top notch snacks and beverages, gas fireplace, and overall comfort made for a first rate experience!

A very pleasant stay at this friendly B&B. Mark went out of his way to accommodate me while was there for a family ceremony. The neighborhood is charmingly bohemian with shops, restaurants and cobblestone streets. The property itself is like a trip to an 1890's Salon. Tiffanies and vintage art, Claw foot tubs and hardwoods. Very much enjoyed staying there. Breakfast was good too.

Mark was very accommodating and couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room was excellent for what we needed for our visit. Continental breakfast and baked goods better than many bakeries I've been .The chamber House is only 2 blocks from transit which made access to Center City easy. Parking can be challenging but we knew that coming in. Will stay again.

Comfortable B&B in a quaint area. Mark, the owner is very warm, friendly and caring. He also offered freshly baked goods with the continental BF. He also gave us an additional space heater in the room, as we are not used to the East Coast weather . The bed (King size) was very comfortable and the nice bathroom offered both a soaking tub and modern shower, with good water pressure. Note there is only one dedicated parking spot, which he reserved for us for the late evening arrival day. But there are spots on the street that also has a dirt lot for free parking. The common living/dining room is lovely and stacked with wine, drinks and snacks 24 hrs a day. Good Internet connection via WIFI as well.|Overall a very lovely stay with an owner that makes you feel like an old friend.|Great choice in that quaint area of Manayunk, with its numerous little shops and restaurants.

We had such an incredible stay at Manayunk Chambers! From the moment we arrived, our host Mark made us feel completely at home. He was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our visit special. His hospitality went above and beyond anything we could have expected.||The breakfasts each morning were an absolute highlight—Mark is truly a pastry genius. We had requested gluten- and dairy-free options, and he not only accommodated us but exceeded all expectations. The scones were out of this world! Every bite was delicious and clearly prepared with so much care.||What really stood out were the little details—thoughtful touches throughout the house, and Mark’s genuine attention to making sure everything felt just right. It’s clear how much love and pride he puts into this place, and it made our stay feel extra special.||On top of the cozy atmosphere and amazing food, Mark shared wonderful insights about Manayunk and Philly, which made our trip feel even richer. We left not only relaxed and well-fed but also with a greater appreciation of the area.||If you’re visiting Philadelphia, staying here is a must. We can’t wait to come back!

Located on a quiet street, with easy walking distance to fabulous restaurants, and just a stone's throw away from Philadelphia's amazing parks and landmarks, Manayunk Chambers Guest House is the perfect place to be.
