Motel West

One of best Motel Hotels we have stayed in. Very clean and I again say extremely clean rooms. The bed was comfortable, pillows great and very comfortable surroundings. We just happened to stop there and called our friends to also stay. After checking in we sat in a large cafeteria style area off the front counter and visited. We will definitely come back and stay. Highly recommended with very friendly staff.

I had checked this hotel out as an option to our usual place. I read the reviews, prepared for the worst, and ended up pleasantly surprised! The front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful, even accommodating our request for ground floor pet friendly with us having booked via a third party. I don't know why some of the reviews were so negative about the front desk not being helpful, because we had zero problems. The room was good sized, plenty of space for our dog to find himself a spot to sleep. The bed was perfect, not hard as a rock, and not so soft you think you're going to sink to the floor. I only have two comments on the room and that is that the water temperature in the shower is kinda wonky, so be prepared for it to be temperamental. The other thing was fairly minor and it's the fact that there was a lot of fine dirt across the floors. Something you wouldn't notice unless you are walking around barefoot. If it weren't for those two issues, it would have been a 5 star for the room as well.

We picked this place based on all of the good reviews. We were greeted by a friendly night clerk who offered us cookies! Our room was huge - a double queen - and very clean. The beds were comfy, plenty of outlets and USB for electronics, lots of hot water and water pressure, nice towels. I didn't give a 5 because the bathroom needs attention - the shower head needs a vinegar dunk, the fan is extremely loud, and the ceiling definitely needs paint. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Extremely friendly and helpful front desk and staff. The price reflects that it is not new and fancy. Our room was clean and comfortable and we got as good of a night's sleep as if we had spent twice as much for a room. We were planning to stay again a couple of days later but reserved too late and there were no available rooms.||My wife said that the coffee was very good.

A family owned motel at a reasonable price. The room is old but well maintained. The towel and bed linens were cleaned well. The coffee machine in the room was not perfectly cleaned, so we found some coffee grounds inside. They offer coffee, hot chocolate, tea, orange& apple juice near the front desk, which was great! The laundry cost $1.5 and looked old, but it seemed that the day we left they’d change into new ones

Clean motel. Easy check in with warm cookies upon arrival in the front office. Motel is older but well taken care of. The room was simple but as a traveler passing through Idaho Falls, the comfy bed and shower in the morning were all we needed. I noticed there was a microwave and mini fridge in our room but we didn't need it for this trip. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in the future.

We've stayed here 4 times now. Very reasonably priced, clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. And there are always fresh homemade cookies at the front desk.
