Loved staying here. The place is spotless and way roomier than expected – the split-level layout between the bedroom and living area is such a nice touch. Fireplace was a cool bonus (didn't use it, but appreciated it being there), and the TV is basically a movie theater.||||The staff was genuinely friendly and kept things quiet, which is rare in West Hollywood. Location is *chef's kiss* – you're basically on top of Melrose and Sunset, so hitting up shops, restaurants, and nightlife is a five-minute walk. ||||Honestly, would definitely stay again.
First impressions can be deceiving — this hotel is truly a hidden gem. The Chamberlain has classic old Hollywood charm and an unbeatable location: walkable to spots like the Rainbow Room, Trader Joe’s, and Gracias Madre, with a quick Uber ride to just about anywhere else in West Hollywood. We stayed in a studio suite with a fireplace and balcony, and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Best of all, it was super quiet, which is very important to us — a rare find in this area. We loved the bar, which doubles as a coffee service in the mornings, and the rooftop pool was perfect for both sunrise and sunset. The staff was warm and welcoming, greeting us at check-in with their signature champagne cocktail, which immediately set the tone for the stay. Charming, comfortable, and thoughtfully run — we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
This is my go to hotel in LA when here for work. It is small and quaint and the rooms are all suites and well positioned with a good sized desk, great big tv and comfortable bed. The staff are super friendly and it’s in a great location in West Hollywood. There is a great hole in the wall sushi place around the corner and it’s close to CVS and a tonne of restaurants. Only small gripe is that as a female travelling on my own it’s preferable to not be in a room down the end of the corridor around the corner - just from a safety aspect. The bathroom is tiny but functional. For the price this a great hotel.
Nothing is too much trouble for the crew in this hotel. They are always smiling, very courteous and eager to provide service. Thank you team. The hotel is a hidden gem in Weho. Tucked away in a quiet area yet just a few steps away from Santa Monica Blvd. Our room was beautiful. Very comfortable and nice decorated. The attention to detail was really good. Definitely recommended. Will be very happy to stay again at some point in the future.
Had an amazing stay at The Chamberlain! The staff was amazing. Flora at the Front Desk was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests! Taylor (or Trinity) at the Bar was absolutely magnificent! She was so welcoming and made sure to create a lasting experience, by making it so special. Housekeeping was very attentive but not invasive. I enjoyed everything about the property!
The place was clean and the room was large and well set out. Overall it was a good place to stay but there were a few things that annoyed me. The reception staff were not rude but definitely not welcoming or smiley. The lifts/elevator are ridiculously slow. We waited 5 mins once and ended up walking the stairs. (First world problem I know, but still, just have lifts that work.) It’s only a 9 story building or at least communicate it with your guest they’re not working. The pool area is great but the chlorine they use smells funny. We stayed in 8 hotels in the US over the last 4 weeks and none were like this. You could hear the hotel room above or next door at night when they used the shower. We had a balcony big enough for a small table and chair but nothing to sit on out there. They offer a complimentary late check out to 1 pm but then want to charge $70 for a 3 pm check out, then half day rate until around 6 pm, and full rate after that. I get needing to pay for staying longer but the pricing doesn’t really make sense for the time difference. As I said at the start, all in all it was a good hotel, clean and nice, but just multiple small things that could easily be fixed.
Chamberlain is a gem in West Hollywood. My wife and I stayed there for 5 nights and the hotel, a Michelin-star one, is superb. The room is actually a mini apartment, quite spacious, with a refrigerator for you to store your stuff, a very good bed, bathroom, a working desk and a comfortable table with the two big screen TVs. It has a very well served fitness center, a restaurant and public (paid) parking nearby if you want t skip the hotel valet service. The guest service and staff are amazing: everyone is super helpful and efficient. The hotel is in a very quiet area, waking distance to all cool places at Sunset strip, and its rooftop is quite cool. Ah! And checkout is at 12:00, not at 11:00 🙂 We just loved the hotel. This is the place to be in West Hollywood!!
