When I came in room was very clean, smelled great. I slept there 2 nights & did not see any bedbugs or spiders & no bites. The motel staff was polite, worked efficiently. Made us feel welcome. Will go back again.

It was okay. It actually looks like a Motel 6 and not like that picture. That’s still okay. I checked in. The good thing is that it’s conveniently located. When I made the reservation, it said I would get a free breakfast. I didn’t care. I just need a cup of coffee in the morning. I got a notification the night before saying they are working too hard to give the free breakfast ‍♀️Good thing I had no expectations. It was okay. The clerks were nice.

I have stayed at many Park Inn Hotels in Europe. In fact, Park Inn is not really a budget brand, so I was surprised to find it marketed as one here. Park Inn by Radisson, Santa Clara is only getting 2 stars from me for a couple of reasons. I needed a hotel for the night as I arrived late and only wanted a room to sleep, shower, and get a good 8 hours of rest. I was taken aback to find out the hotel is essentially a rebranded Motel 6. Let’s start with the positives. First, the room was clean. I didn’t see any bugs. The bed had clean sheets and pillowcases, and the bathroom sink area was spotless. Second, the hotel is located on El Camino Real in a safe area. The exterior looks like it’s seen better days, but the room itself was passable for what I needed. Now, for the issues. Check-in took way too long. I waited 30 minutes and was asked for an excessive number of items, as if I were checking into a major casino hotel. But this is the Park Inn in Santa Clara, not the Las Vegas Strip. I’m still shocked by how long it took just to get into my room. Next, the wireless internet was non-existent in Room 124. In Silicon Valley, of all places, basic Wi-Fi should not be compromised. There were also no toiletries—no shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel. BEWARE: the rooms do not have mini-fridges or microwaves, which are standard amenities in most Choice Hotel brands. How can a hotel not have a mini-fridge? The final straw was the late check-out situation. I asked for a 12 p.m. check-out to get a full night’s sleep. I set my alarm for 11:30 a.m., but housekeeping started knocking on my door at 10 a.m. and even opened it. I explained I had a late check-out. They returned at 11 a.m., and again at 11:20 a.m., despite my explanation. Apparently, they weren’t informed and told me to speak with the front desk. I just left. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I no longer trust the Park Inn brand now that Choice Hotels has taken it over. I would avoid this hotel if you value a smooth check-in, working Wi-Fi, basic toiletries, and a cleaning staff that respects late check-out policies. It’s a shame, because the location is decent and the room had potential. But basic hospitality and communication were completely missing.

Always dirty. Everytime I’ve been here. Never fails. Surfaces are never wiped down, always have some gunk & stains from however many previous people. Shower floors never look clean, always dark & grimy. The towels are a hazard risk, always have pubes in them, dingy, stains; how many times do they get washed & re used before y’all order new ones?? Bed sheets & pillow cases ALWAYS have spots & stains, hair or blood sometimes as well. Unfortunately I’ve had to make this my home for a night or few more than a dozen times now. & unfortunately it’s never gotten any cleaner. It seems as if the housekeepers pick & choose if/what they want to "clean". Please believe me I’ve been to a lot of low budget motels & this one always disappoints the most when it comes to cleanliness. I hope to actually make this the last time I ever have to come here.

Major issue right out of the gate is the hotel was sold to Motel 6, and we received no communication from either the Park Inn or Motel 6 to let us know this. Ray access of the 101 freeway, but not in a great part of town. Rooms were clean, but the bed was not very comfortable. Recent renovations were done, but there were no amenities in the room other than hand soap.

After reading the one star reviews, I was mentally prepared to stay in a room full of roaches and other horrible things. To my surprise, this place was clean, the room was freshened up everyday, and the staff were friendly. This place isn’t a five star hotel, but worth the price you pay. The dirtiest part of the room I saw was the vents of the AC. Aside from that, I would stay here again.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room with 2 queen beds not full size there was only one bath towel , no other towels! the surrounding area, disgusting dirty with strangers walking around banging at the next door room as a result we called the reception and left the hotel!
