My recent visit to Sandy Beach Water Park left me with an overwhelmingly positive impression. The tranquil and serene vibe of the place made it a perfect getaway. Not only did we enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, but the park also boasted an array of well-established amenities that added to the overall experience. The highlight of Sandy Beach Water Park was undoubtedly the peaceful ambiance. It was a welcome escape from the bustling city life, and we found ourselves instantly immersed in a serene oasis. The surroundings were beautifully maintained, providing a picturesque backdrop for a day of relaxation and fun. While exploring the park, we had the chance to utilize the restroom facilities. Although the restrooms were generally clean, we did notice that the shower booths were a bit untidy. This minor cleanliness issue was the only drawback we encountered during our visit. However, it did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the park. One aspect that truly impressed us was the variety of amenities available. The playground area was well-designed and provided a safe and enjoyable space for children to play. The facilities were well-maintained, and the equipment was in great condition. It was evident that the park management takes pride in ensuring a high-quality experience for visitors. Moreover, Sandy Beach Water Park offered a range of additional amenities that enhanced our visit. The picnic areas were well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy a delightful outdoor meal. The seating areas were plentiful and strategically placed, providing convenient spots to rest and soak up the serene atmosphere. The overall layout of the park was well thought out, maximizing both comfort and convenience. In conclusion, Sandy Beach Water Park is a peaceful haven that offers a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy. While the shower booths could use a bit more attention, the overall cleanliness was acceptable. The well-established playground and other amenities make it an ideal destination for families and individuals seeking a serene escape. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful park for a day of relaxation and rejuvenation. Escape the noise and unwind at Sandy Beach Water Park – you won't be disappointed! We went here for my dad's jet ski race. We really enjoyed it. The water park wasn't opened and from what I was told they weren't opening it this year because it needed repairs or something. The water park definitely looked like it needed some updating. The bathrooms up by the parking lot were nice and big with 2 showers in the back. There's no shower curtain on the showers and no door knob to get back into the bathrooms (it's broke off) which I didn't notice until after the door closed. Luckily there's another door that leads outside from the showers. There's another bathroom down by the beach. It's a little smaller and there's no shower but it looked to be kept up. There's a playground on the beach for the kids and a volleyball net. They do allow camping but not in a tent which makes no sense to me. It's $35 a night for a camper with no electricity or sewer hookups.
I wasn't a fan! It is very run down to be a newer water park. The splash pad wasn't open, The wave pool wasn't working. We pretty much paid $10 a person to go swimming.. The pool and Lazy River were covered in Frogs and it was dirty. Ant beds everywhere. Way too many hazards laying around for little kids to get into.
Visited from Atlanta and I was pleasantly surprised. We loved the different water activities. The staff were so friendly. The kids water area was not working which was the only bummer but the water slides made up for it. The lazy river was so soothing and great for my little one in her float. I definitely recommend going here for a nice outing that doesn’t cost so much.
This place was pretty awesome. My kiddos loved it and we spent over 4 hrs here. Wish I would have checked It out before. Great way to cool down and relax . Plenty of seating even on a Sunday when we went. Will def go again!
This little splash park packs a big punch! Some of everything - slides, lazy river, wave pool, kiddie zone, lap swim and poolside options. Hidden treasure in our 'back yard'
It was very empty today so we weren't crowded at all. We did enjoy ourselves quite a bit and it was a nice day out as well. Would come back again.
