Found a nice gem of a place. Call to see if they had availability. And they told me, had someone after a hour available. Location is great, easy to find, was greeted by friendly staff. The masseuse was attentive and ask what was some my pain points. Managed to take those and some knots I had. Will return again, as service and staff are very helpful and friendly.

Today was visiting a friend in San Mateo, two hours early, so decided to look around and see what was available. Entered and the staff greeted me, they had availability, usually I call to make sure they could accommodate me. The staff was friendly and greeted me cheerfully. Enter the room, looked clean and tidy. I got ready on the bench, told my masseuse that I had some tightness and sore legs. She took care of all my knots, gave good attention to my legs as I asked. I do believe that I fell asleep, was such a relaxing experience. Will definitely come here again, now one of my locations that will visit when in the area, bookmarked.

New Ownership and Management I have had the opportunity to visit Aroma Spa three times since the transition to new ownership last summer. Each visit has been a very pleasant occasion, and I will return as a regular customer. I have lower back issues that have been a problem for years, and my preference is for deep muscle work to relieve tightness. Remarkably, the massage therapist was able to trigger-point my tension areas and relieve pressure in my hips, mid-back and lower back. I also enjoy back walking to delve deeper and really target the problem spots. The session was blended with firm pressure as well as a very relaxing, Swedish-style stress relief finish. I enjoy the environment because it is quiet and has a pleasant and inviting scent. The new team is warm, friendly, and very customer-focused. I appreciate good craftsmanship and the hard work that is required to be a good masseuse. As such, my gratuities are generous, and there are never any issues. Aroma, under new management, is now a completely different experience, which I encourage you to visit soon.

The new management has the shop looking so much better than it did before. The shop is very clean, and updated, and the staff is very friendly. I had a very relaxing and rejuvenating deep tissue massage, that took away all my muscle pain, at least temporarily. I highly recommend the spa, due to its cleanliness and friendly, relaxing environment.

I saw the spa was under new ownership and thought I would give it a try. Parking wasn't available immediately in front of it, but there was plenty of parking behind the building by the tracks. The masseuse and her service were excellent -- welcoming, professional, and quite skilled in bringing relief to my tired shoulders and back. I'll be back and would definitely recommend it.

The massage was okay. I was pressured to give 25% tip and was also charged a 5% fee that wasn’t included in the menu.
