The Boiled Owl Tavern

I love the boiled owl. They always do fun stuff like movie nights and it’s just a good all around dive bar. Shout out all the bartenders they’re always so attentive even when it’s super busy. We moved up here recently from Austin so we come all the time. Thank y’all for making us feel at home here.

We were having a great time until I went to order a 3rd drink and the bartender cut us off because "he didnt feel good" about it. My guest is black, and Im going to really hope we weren't kicked out because of that. Our behavior was fine and normal, just having a conversation between ourselves. It was time for another drink and we were asked to close out. Really disappointed since we thought we found a cool joint to have a drink. Oh, well.

The Owl is an amazing place with amazing people specifically the Temu Keanu Reeves bartender working. Not only did I feel safe bc I'm being served by "John Wick" but I felt at home like I feel like Keanu would if he was working at a badass bar. Come to the Boiled Owl now!

My regular spot. Love all the employees, the atmosphere and the drinks. Live music regularly and and different things throughout the week like karaoke, bingo and happy hour.

The inside was so chill but we were invisible to the Temu Noel Fielding bartender coming on shift. We were served one drink apiece by the other guy then sat and paitently waited for the shift change to render. I actually raised my hand at one point, but he still didn't bother with us. Not a grunt, a what's up, nod, or glance in our direction. Nothing. It's weird feeling transparent to a man three feet from us. There were maybe 8 people inside the whole joint. We walked to Grandma's speculating on whether the guy was salary or not. Lame experience either way. * nah. fully empty. Also scorching is what happened. feedback is feedback. take it and improve from a grim reality.

Love coming here on the different times of theme days. Karaoke nights on Monday's with Hunter are the absolute blast! Cole and Cody are the most awesome bartenders ever! Need a cool quaint but most respectable place? Go to The Boiled Owl Tavern. If you are a negative attitude leave it at the door!!

Had a bad experience once, feel like this place has gotten way better :), last couple times I've visited has been great. Bartenders are nice and the people? Great!! If you like divebars with good service and an amazing atmosphere, you'll love it at the owl. Thanks to the owner for making this place so great :).
