LaCage NiteClub

My first time visit was October 4, 2025 🙂 if someone is debating whether to visit or not, definitely recommend visiting. I would definitely visit again. Staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The drag show on the 3rd floor was really enjoyable. The seating for the audience is extensive, mostly at tables just 2 steps below the stage and the performers will sing and walk through and interact with the audience. They had a bright spotlight from the back to shine on the queens and to me the atmosphere gave classy/classic night club. The 2nd floor has a great sized dancing area with elevated caged portion anyone can be on, just requested no drinks be with you then. Nice male gogo dancers. And my favorite is how many mirrors there are on the dance floor. Two walls facing each other have nearly wall sized mirrors. So nice to be able to check yourself without having to go to the bathroom. Bathrooms on every level but, an update facelift in terms of decor would absolutely be a great investment.

It was my first time at LaCage last night. I loved the entertainment, the atmosphere, and the bartenders were lovely. I got drinks at each bar, and was thoroughly impressed by how well they handled the rushes and pressure, all while keeping that friendly demeanor! I look forward to coming back in the future! I absolutely love this place. I personally know Loretta Love Lee and Mercedes Benzova who are premier drag queens. Always stunning and professional. I only wish I lived closer to go there more often. But when I do get to go...I always have an amazing time. Food and drinks are also always great!!

I had a terrible experience at LaCage Nightclub and won’t be returning. From the moment I approached the bar, the young female bartender on duty was extremely rude, dismissive, and acted like customers were an inconvenience. I was ignored for long periods, spoken to disrespectfully, and treated very unprofessionally for no apparent reason. She was gossiping with customers for long periods while I was waiting for service. What made it worse is that this behavior seemed completely unchecked. A nightclub like this should prioritize customer service and basic respect, especially when people are paying high prices for drinks. Instead, the atmosphere felt hostile and unwelcoming, which completely ruined the night. Management seriously needs to address the quality of their staff and how customers are treated. There are plenty of other places in Milwaukee where you can spend your money and actually be treated decently—this isn’t one of them.

This place has a Milwaukee staple for as long as I can remember! It's changed hands many times, but what's always made me want to go has been the staff. As long as whomever owns it keeps it staffed with **friendly, social, and respectful employees ** who are a part of the LGBTQ community, and they keep their values core to what LaCage has always been, I think we'll always come back

We had a bachelorette party at LaCage recently, and had so much fun! There was no wait in line (we arrived at 9:30pm), the drinks & food were tasty, and the staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions (we were all new timers). We were seated immediately and got a complimentary bottle of champagne too. The drag show was so much fun, and felt like an intimate experience despite the floor being full. Performers were interacting with the crowd and gathering tips. Our bride-to-be was also invited on stage to dance! We stayed from 9:30-1:00am and it blew by. We took an Uber since we know parking is pretty tricky in this area. My only gripe is that I was unable to get in contact with LaCage while trying to book the bachelorette party (over phone, email and their website), which caused some uncertainty / stress. Luckily it all worked out, but I’d definitely recommend coming in before 10pm for a good table, plus there’s no cover fees before 10pm ($10 / person for the night we went, but it fluctuates).

Love love love and I'm not just saying that because i'm cupid. Met some amazing people wonderful staff ❤️ 12/10 experience Definitely gonna be my go to club when I come down.
