Very cool speakeasy adjacent to the Virgin Hotel. I loved it here. The vibe was cozy and private. I liked the way it was decorated. The drinks and service were perfect. I can’t wait to go back.
Doorman was complete jerk with a huge attitude. I had a collared shirt and nice leather sandles and was told I didn’t meet the dress code. No dress code on the website and the place looked dead. Quite disappointing. Drove across the city to check it out. Won’t be back.
20% service charge added automatically to every drink and they try to trick you to tip more. Scummy.
This speakeasy is easily one of the best cocktail bar experiences in all of Nashville! Located in the heart of Midtown beneath the Virgin Hotel, The Late Great provides undeniably great service, drinks, and live music for all who may dare to find it. The bartender on our last visit, Ruth, was very knowledgeable and skilled at her craft. 10/10 place all-around!
Great date night for partners, friends or groups! Drinks are good and a tad pricy. Ambiance and live music makes up for it 🙂
