A

This is such a fun atmosphere. I went here a few weekends in a row when I was in the area for work. Everyone is so nice and the drinks are pretty decent. A lot of the younger guys, like under 25, call it a dive bar. It's not a fancy establishment by any means, but I would categorize it at least one step above a dive bar. The front portion is a bit more divey, but the back bar is a fun neighborhood place that I would love to visit on weekends if I lived in the area.

Gay friendly, not a pick-up spot for dark meat lol

This is the go-to dive bar for any members of the LGBTQ community. It’s always a fun and relaxed time coming here with a group of friends. Everyone is always really nice and you can strike up a conversation easily with most patrons at the bars - there’s one in the front and another in the back. I enjoy the music that plays here, the front bar normally plays current pop hits while the back bar is playing classic gay anthems. There is also some really fun karaoke nights hosted here if you are into that. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is just looking to go out and have a nice chill time sitting at a bar and chatting it up with friends and locals, it’s definitely not something along the lines of an Eagle per say.

Predominantly white middle-aged gay mens bar located in downtown Charles village Baltimore. Customer services friendly. I don't consider Leon's a cruise bar. Leon is a legendary bar. Drinks aren't too great, in my opinion

Very clearly a neighborhood bar. If you’re not local or don’t have friends with you don’t bother.

Went out for drinks with a friend on October 12 and couldn't believe how little the bartender, Sven, cared. A customer knocked over a glass and it shattered onto the floor. He made no effort to clean up the broken glass despite multiple patrons asking him to. He kept saying "I'll get it after my shift." It was hardly midnight and he was just going to let a safety hazard sit there for another 2 hours. Someone could have easily gotten hurt. That's just not acceptable

Leon's has always been a place where the staff is friendly and you can easily strike up conversation with others around you at the bar. A very CHEERS atmosphere I would say. The drinks are always reasonably priced especially for happy hour and I've always had a great experience here.
