Have been a fan for years, but didn't get the chance to get to the shop until today. The merch store as well as vehicles on display were cool to see. Merch store has a TV that shows live feeds of the shop, and it was cool to see those guys working on projects. I saw Richard walking around, and without hesitation, he walked right over to shake hands and chat for quite awhile, offering a picture at the end. Definitely worth the stop!
Wow. Love the show. Was just watching a episode of the show and it showed Richard buying 3 cars in a town that I lived in for a number of years. Greenville Ohio Showed them driving around the circle that is downtown. Keep up the beautiful builds I have built diff rides in my younger yrs now going on 65. My last build was a bike 6 yrs ago from a basket case. A 2001 Suzuki Intruder 1500. Painted it black and burnt pumpkin orange because my mother's b'day was Halloween Bike before and after
It was nice to go and see it since I was in the area. It's a little smaller than I imagined after seeing it on tv. The lady in the merchandise store was awesome and we did see Richard in the parking lot.
Alright, listen up, gearheads and casual cruisers! Even though we totally fumbled the ball and missed the tour slot (my bad, Richard!), Gas Monkey Garage still delivered a five star experience that's shinier than a freshly polished hot rod. From the moment we stepped into the merch shop, it was like a treasure trove of automotive awesome! We're talking wicked hot rods, vintage motorcycles, and seriously, the coolest chair ever made entirely out of Craftsman wrenches. My jaw basically hit the floor. And the merch? Forget about it! I snagged some sweet gear, including a sign that was personally signed by the big guy himself, Richard Rawlings! How cool is that?! The store itself was amazingly well kept, sparkling clean, and organized like a dream. And the staff? A++ all the way! Every single person we talked to was super friendly, genuinely helpful, and clearly loved what they do. Seriously, if you're ever in the area, you absolutely HAVE to check out Gas Monkey Garage. We were definitely not disappointed, even without the tour. Just a pro tip: learn from my mistakes and try to get there early because the tours are only on Monday and Friday from 10 AM to 12 PM. You won't regret it!
Me, my wife and son visited Gas Monkey while we in Dallas looking at cars. We have been big time fans since Fast and Loud first came out on discovery. Being in the same industry but in the UK I just wanted to thank Richard for what he has done for the whole car community, keeping the torch lit for petrol heads. The tours are FREE OF CHARGE giving up his staffs time and today his own time to meet and great people. So everyone go and get some merchandise bought! We then stopped by his new restaurant ‘Gas Monkey Icehouse’ at which the food was brilliant! Again keeping the car community lit and younger generations coming in. Get yourself down there….
Love it there better then on TV Did not see richard rawlings but there is always a next time to see him
Very cool to see in real life if you saw it on tv. The merch shop is nice to see and the staff is very nice!
