So I’m gonna say previously review was only a three star. They now have a new bartender here, Santos yeah yeah and yeah he is fantastic which is totally changed the whole review for me. I wasn’t even a step in it since I seen it with somebody different and there was quite a crowd around him. He is definitely driving the cells for this location. He has charisma style, taste, and best of all he’s actually aware of recommendations and information to have somebody make a choice if they don’t know.
Super cute little bar in the Sahara hotel near the lobby. The entire Sahara hotel is definitely a throwback to the 70s. I love how they have kept the mid-century modernism in the furniture and the decor. The bartenders at the Tangier were very friendly and we also appreciate the $10 whiskey sour special!
I didn't eat here, just stopped in for a drink and it was delicious. $10 during happy hour for a fine mixed drink isn't bad given where you are. Staff was great.
Another chilled well set out bar inside the Sahara hotel, great range of drinks, good seating options so you can relax or watch the world walk past. Very friendly staff
Good selection of cocktails, nicely decorated, can't be more conveniently located if you're staying in the Sahara. Had a weird experience which I'm not sure was a fluke or not but I ordered a whisky and it had stuff floating in it, I mentioned it and they were polite enough to replace it, but the one they replaced it with had stuff floating in it too! Maybe their dishwasher has something going on? Their cocktails are delicious though and while expensive like everything in Vegas it's not AS expensive as other bars down the strip.
They offer a 10$ whisky sour that is pre batched, your getting what you pay for in that 10$, if you want a real whisky sour, shaken with egg white, you have to pay 19$ for it. Great cocktail menu, very knowledgeable bartenders, if you can’t afford a 10$ drink you shouldn’t be ordering drinks at the bar!
A nice quiet lounge in The Sahara Hotel. Amazing drinks and a relaxing atmosphere to.kick back after a long day.
