What a great spot. Not a place I would usually choose to go, a friend suggested it. It's a super cool Goth bar... totally decorated for Halloween! Love the spooky vibes. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Employees were great, service was fast and efficient. I loved that you order at the bar, and they make your drink right then to avoid waiting for both drinks and food. Super smart and I wish more bars did this. Food was so good... Definitely worth the journey back there one day soon.grwat prices too! 70 bucks for 2 mixed drinks-which were bomb btw- and app, and 2 entries. Can't get any better now days.

My favorite bar for all seasons is definitely the thechurchcantina, I love their theme menu and sitting at the bar so I can watch movies play in the background. I bring everyone of my clients, friends… EVERYONE. 💀Favorite cocktails: Crucifix and gin reaper 💀Favorite food & appetizers: Mojo pork, chimichurri bowls, cantina cuban and nachos I definitely recommend you this place next time you are in town, owner and staff are so cool plus during Halloween season their decorations go above and beyond 🔥

Had the vegan Cubano; so good. Boyfriend got the chilli coconut prawns, and added steak the flavor was impeccable. Our food came out fast with no issues, the garlic fries are also great. Atmosphere is unbeatable with ecletic goth genres. Would recommend

This is a very unique spot. Super edgy goth horror vibes. Very dark atmosphere. It has a pool table and some arcade games as well. Usually very busy esp on the weekends but I think the wait is worth it. The drinks are amazing, service is fine and the food is also alright. The one thing that is to die for food wise is their nachos. For what you pay for you get a lot of food so I think its worth it, they are pretty solid.

This was already one of my favorite spots in Tacoma but I usually get in too late to try food. My go to drink is the Bruja Blast but their entire specialty drink menu is fantastic. My husband and I stopped in so I could share this place with him and grab something to eat. We ordered the biscuits and gravy, Mac n cheese with prawns, and the cheesesteak. My husbands description is refreshing for his cheesesteak, as they are usually thick and greasy but he enjoyed the freshness. The Mac n cheese has a hint of smokey and was delicious. Those biscuits and gravy? To die for in flavor. Not a blow your mind kick, but a soft and super flavorful burst in the mouth. I've been here many times but I will make effort to come in during food hours! I will also add that the owner is fantastic and makes sure to create a fun environment while also making sure it is safe having no issue chasing out problematic customers and as a woman and someone who works in the bar industry myself, it is a thing I love to see. I will always recommend this place to anyone.

Church Cantina is one of my regular haunts, although it’s two hours north of me. I sometimes make the drive up just for their specials! If they’re open during the haunted farmers market, a line forms before they open, and for good reason. This time I made the drive up just for their peaches and cream French toast, and to grab one of their new pint glasses! It’s cool seeing how much they’ve added since the last time I was here. This place is why I’ve barely tried any other restaurants in Tacoma, I already know where I’m eating! I’ve been coming here since 2023 and the service from every bartender has always been fantastic. The drinks are made fast, the food comes out quick, the vibes are chill. I have to try something different each time. When I drank, I tried a different cocktail each time and was never disappointed, go with the Baja Blast!

Loved this place! The drinks are delicious and creative, the food is yummy, and the prices are very reasonable! The atmosphere is fun and eclectic, reminded me of a Halloween version of McMenamins. And the staff were super friendly. The game room had so many fun movie posters. Definitely a place I will be going back to.
