I walked in simply looking for a small table. Nothing too fancy. Just something to put on my porch next to my reading chair. I walked out with just the best little table I've ever had. The drawers actually click when closed to ensure they don't accidentally slide open. It's got a glass top and it's lighted. When I first saw it, I expected to pay close to $100, at least. I got this little bad boy for about $30. I'm very happy. I wish I could remember the name of the gorgeous lady that helped me, but I kinda forgot once I found out she had a man... lol. She was awesome. Took care of me every step of the way. Since our house recently burned down, we have been looking for places to help us refurnish our new home once it's rebuilt. Bob's Discount Furniture is definitely at the top of our list! Bear approved!

I like everything about Bob's except for the long wait for my furniture. The saleswoman didn't tell me until after my purchase that it would be 6 weeks before delivery. It ended up being 7 weeks. I am pleased with my sofa/loveseat and the 2 gentlemen who delivered and set it up were courteous and efficient.

Eddie did a great job. He was informative, answered all our questions and ensured we were comfortable with our purchase. We purchased a beautiful wonderful priced dining set and we are very pleased with the purchase.

Pleasant experience! We visited multiple stores that day to find our new couch, but Bob’s really stood out! Very friendly and not pushy staff, nice ambiance and room to have some coffee and cookies or ice cream. Felt welcome and not pressured. Prices are ok as well, not cheap but not overpriced either so I’d say nice mid-range. Would definitely recommend. We worked with Jarel and would certainly go sim him again!

The sales experience was really good. The rep was professional and tested the product for me prior to my purchase. The only reason I didn’t give my experience a five star review is because I was not informed the chair I purchased did not come with a power cord and I had to purchase the power cord separately. I wasn’t upset because it was a steal of a deal on the chair that I purchased, but I would recommend ensuring if the customer is purchasing from the warehouse to inform them of all the details associated with the furniture they’re purchasing. Nevertheless, I would definitely purchase from this store again.

Bob's Discount Furniture Newport News Store exceeded my expectations. Knowledgeable staff and prices that hit the sweet spot. Great value and quality to be had with their showroom furniture that is suitable for all price points. If that's not enough, they have an even greater price break in the back on furniture that could be labeled "misfit." In that, some pieces may have a ding or a scratch, and others may be perfectly fine but be missing part of the set. At any rate, there are deals to be had. Ask for Lori, she'll find you what you're looking for.

We were very pleased with the selection and service at the Newport News facility. Lori was very helpful and we were able to find what we were looking for and order it. We bought them yesterday and the chairs will be delivered in three days! We visited Bob’s furniture in Pittsburgh several years ago and bought a ottoman sleeper and have been very happy with it.
