Devil's Hideaway

My friend and I stopped in on her way out of town for food & drinks recently. We were instantly greeted by the kind front door person & knowledgeable bartender. We told the bartender our preferred spirit & taste preferences, while enjoying the vibe and amazing decor. He delivered drinks perfectly suited to each of our requests. Then we wandered to the food window to order sliders & fries. All of which were delicious, well priced, and served quickly. It was not busy, as we stopped by early evening. Probably better given we're in our 40s stopping through a college town. But I bet it is a fun time in the evening. Especially when the beautiful backroom speakeasy, Idle Hands, is open. Will visit again just for that!

We stopped in Devil's Hideaway in Tempe after searching for lounges in the area. We had reservations at another nearby establishment and since the DH was just down the street, we gave it a try. We were glad we did. The interiors decor resembles a subterranean subway with the arched brickwork and exposed conduit for the colored tube lighting. A game room in the back offers plenty of entertainment and additional seating. For those who enjoy outdoor seating, they offer that as well. Another little gem is the Speakeasy hidden in another area for those quieter get together. Unfortunately, we were too earlier to see the inside. Reservations are required for access. When in Tempe, highly recommend stopping in and checking this little hot-spot out.

We stopped by this spot in vacation in Tempe. AZ. The Devil's hideaway had a retro vibe to it lots of neon lights and art on the walls. The drinks were good and it was a nice spot to just hangout and enjoy the lively atmosphere and music. Right in the heart of downtown and walking distance from our hotel. Loved the underground subway system look inside with brick arches and street art spray painted on the walls.

Stopped in because the interior looked amazingly cool. Was immediately greeted by the general manager, Josh who gave us a tour The tour ended in the amazing speakeasy back room, with the mixologist Tyler! . We will be back with friends!

Tyler in the speakeasy was incredible. His recipes, service, and flavors were absolutely memorable. Thank you so much for the experience of the evening.

This place has a great vibe! An awesome patio. Great drinks. I recommend the espresso martini.

This space is a much needed addition to DTPHX. It offers something truly unique. The real brick interior gives the vibe of a forgotten subway tunnel added by great lighting to accent the space. This would be a great spot to get a free friend together to hang out. Service was a little slow with a bar lacking bar stools. However, this did not damper my experience. When I did get service, the bartender was very pleasant. Added bonus - they offer tap-to-pay. Although you'll need to close each round per order.
