Ayers Island

The "beach" is lovely! You can set up shop here and stay for hours. The sand is as perfect as you can get.

Love taking the boat out to Ayer’s Island. Super shallow on the beach side, but it’s a gradual decrease…so approach with caution and anchor up. Great place to hang and relax and meet up with other boaters on the lake. Wish they would put a couple picnic tables out in the grassy area but it’s always a great stop.

A place to chill in the lake debt in the area is 3 to 15 ft depends on how close u get to island side

Very quaint. We went early and had the place to ourselves for a couple of hours. Big enough for 3-4 nice size groups to fit comfortably on the sand part.

Small island but nice

First time here. Spent the 4th of July here with the family! Was great until the rain came in and started storming us out. At that point, it was the toughest thing ever to get out of here. Zero coverage aside from the dozen or so small trees. We came prepared with canopy and grill, so we made the best of the day! A memory we will not forget for sure!

Nice little island to get away for a day. Sand bar runs on the north side little over waist deep and easy to anchor. The bottom is soft clay until you get to the beach, some broken glass need to wear crocks or sandals. Please dont bring glass.
