Cindie's - Baton Rouge

I had a really disappointing experience here. The associate broke my vibrator in the store while trying to put the battery in to "make sure it worked." I noticed she was having trouble at the counter, but I didn’t think much of it. After checking out, I got in my car and opened it — I hadn’t even left the parking lot — and saw that it was cracked. I went right back inside to let her know, but she refused to let me exchange it, saying her boss wouldn’t allow it since I had "already left the store." That’s ridiculous considering I never even left the parking lot and the damage clearly happened while she was handling it. Very poor customer service — I won’t be coming back.

I don't usually do these reviews, but for Lola, I'd feel bad if I didn't. She was SO accommodating, and made me feel extremely comfortable. If you ever feel awkward or shy to shop at adult stores, just call Cindie's and ask for Lola. She'll greet you as if she's been your friend for years. I would add more than 5 stars if I could.

I want to say they have great items but i’m not sure because I could not privately browse the store. I was stopped several times within 10 minutes to ask if I needed help after initially rejecting assistance. After the second time, I just bought what was in my hand and left. I feel like I could have found more if I wasn’t being so heavily profiled.

My first experience in this store and it was not what I expected. I hold every place I go to a high standard that I will receive exceptional service. Well that was not my case as I was looking for bridal lingerie for my Bachelorette trip weekend... they had a nice variety but one girl in particular was very nonchalant. She did not help me. After I told her this was my first experience she still did not give suggestions or anything...I did not feel welcome in this establishment. If I wasn't on such a crunch with time I would have taken my business some where else. This was my first and last time going... points for variety though...

i was surprised to see so many negative reviews for this shop because my boyfriend and i loved this store! i had never seen such a large variety of lingerie for plus size and toys for all genders as well. the employees did say welcome in and they did make sure we were doing okay once or twice while we were browsing but mostly left us alone to look which i always appreciate in this kind of store. i was so happy to finally find sexy and risqué lingerie in my size (3XL/20-22) and they even had stockings as well. they had testers for the toys and when i had a question i was able to ask the employee and she gave me helpful insight. we checked out and they took the items out of the packaging to make sure they were in working condition which i was thankful they did because the item i chose wasn’t working or charging so she picked out a similar product to show me since they didn’t have any more of my original choice. i don’t live in this area but next time i’m in baton rouge i will definitely be stopping by to pick up more lingerie pieces and expand my collection

I went to this store and shopped around. I’ve been in several times and have never had a bad experience. The girl at the counter was not only inattentive. She was downright rude. Rolled her eyes when I asked her to look at a toy in the locked case. I bought the toy for $65. I went to Hearts also here in town and found the exact same toy for $32 the brand website has it for $29.95. What?! That’s highway robbery. And that’s not even the worst part! I’ve had the toy for a month and it starts randomly going off in the drawer without ever being touched. I let it die because that was the only way to make it stop. I decided to give it another go today so let it charge fully and now it won’t turn on even though the light indicates it is fully charged. So very very disappointed in Cindie’s.

I’ve never had a problem with the customer service element— the employees have always been kind when I’ve visited. That said, I do have a qualm with pricing; there is no reason that a 12 pack of condoms should cost $21 (the same exact pack consistently retails for about $9 at other stores). That said, I do know this likely isn’t the fault of the individual store and that pricing is set by corporate. I hope corporate sees this and takes the feedback in these reviews into consideration.
