They have a very good toy section at Christmas time. And some nice sales of the toys. They had Doug and Melissa toys, which are really great for younger kids. I went on Black Friday and there was plenty of help in the store. It was easy to find someone to help me locate sale items that were in the ad. I had purchased one item that I purchased on Black Friday and needed to return January 15, it was no problem.

I recently brought my vehicle to Blain’s Farm & Fleet for an oil change at your Montgomery, Illinois location on February 24, 2026 . After the service was completed, I was given my keys and paperwork without any verbal explanation of additional recommended services. When I reviewed the invoice afterward, I noticed that several services were listed as having been discussed with me and marked as "declined." However, no one spoke to me about these services, nor were they explained or offered to me at any point during my visit. Had they been properly communicated and explained, I would have considered having them completed. Additionally, I found the overall atmosphere during my visit to be unwelcoming. There was minimal communication upon arrival—only a request for my keys and payment—and no effort to review the service details with me before I left. This lack of professionalism and communication left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about the quality of customer service provided. I believe customers deserve clear communication, transparency, and respect when it comes to recommended vehicle services. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit. I will not be returning, but I wanted to formally bring this matter to your attention.

Discovered this store when we were looking for a toy pickup truck for my son. Great selection of toys and farm vehicles etc that seem lower in price than other stores I've been to. They've also got a bunch of other things, including Carhartt, Ariat clothing. Pricey, no discounts there. Customer service is lacking and slow. Seem to be more focused on chatting with each other than helping customers. Also wish they'd allow more "in-store" coupons as they don't price match coupons or prices from their online store. Overall, great store to visit though. You'll most likely find what you need there.

Newly renovated space in 2025 has a much improved layout and things are easy to find. What i like about this store is the incredible selection co.pared to other stores and the prices are often better too. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and aren't limited to just one department. I am a regular here.

Blain's during the holiday season is amazing! Huge selection of toys, holiday items , candy, and much much more! I placed an order online and picked up. Smooth pick up. I walked inside and checked out the huge toy world aisles and was pleased with the different types of toys . The prices were fair. I will definitely be back to check out more of the store.

We went here today for a Xmas breakfast for Veterans. We were greeted by Santa Claus. The breakfast was excellent. We had scrambled eggs that had white cheese which was melted and so tasty. Also bacon or sausage. Plus fried potatoes which were delicious. Plus biscuits and sausage gravy , plus they had pancakes. The breakfast was excellent. We had a wonderful time here.

The only reason I am giving this store a 4 star is because of the emptiness of the store... Other than that I thought that the customer service was really good. Nancy at the service desk was very kind and was even going to go get me another bag (which wasn't necessary)! The only issue was is that the store was so shopped that there were very bare shelves, as if they looked like they were going out of business... Better ordering? I have no idea but I guess I'll continue to go to Romeoville for the time being
