I have gone to Ricks for about 10 years. I decide to try a different club and met a cool girl there. started talking to her. got the occasional dance from her. this particular girl went to work at ricks. I came in in February of this year and got some dances from this particular dancer. I come back in in late March and am told by the manager im being banned for 3 years because the dancer didn't like the dances or she felt uncomfortable with me so she had me banned. I felt terrible about it. I immediately wanted to apologize to her but the manager said I wasn't allowed in. so I have to wait 3 years before I can come back. this situation has been bothering me since it happened. I don't know if/ when I go back ill should even talk to her. or apologize to her but not get any dances because I don't want another 3 year miscommunication. over all its a good club. maybe i just got too friendly with the dancer and she didn't like it. and who knows she might not even be there in 3 years. dancers come and go all the time. I am sorry for what happened or how she felt about it. I don't even drink but I understand now that alcohol is involved the business has to enforce new laws when the dancer makes a complaint. so ill be respectful and stay away for the 3 years. and hopefully the situation can be resolved when I go back. if she still works there. or do I just let it go and not talk to her when I go back. I don't know what I should do. guess I have 3 years to figure it out. ill give it 4 stars because it is a good club. Just wish things happened differently. and when I go back it will be different
My husband and I came by. We were celebrating his 50th bday for the weekend! The girls were all so nice! The vibe was great! We were relaxed, and just chilling. We are planning to come back next weekend! Juniper was a favorite. She came up to us first and ask how we were doing! We hD never been in a club like this but was very impressed. We had a blast!
Was bored one night so I went in to check this place out, not knowing what to expect i had a great time Met Teagan and her best friend Lucille and it just got better. The ladies are super nice. They did a great job being attentive and making me feel comfortable. I'd highly recommend asking for one or both of these young ladies.
Great club and location. I reserved a vip room with Kat and she told me the price beforehand. When we got to the room she all of a sudden changed the price on me. Told me if I didn't pay then I would have to get out of the vip room. Not a great idea to hire her.
I was nervous to show up to Rick’s as someone who buys into much of the social stigma around men who are clients of the adult entertainment industry. I was treated with dignity, respect and ended having a great time. The bouncer doesn’t seem like the type to befriend clients easily; however, he is respectful and fair. I think that just means he’s really good at doing his job as security, making it clear there’s no funny business allowed in the club. A stripper named Lucille flashed a smile at me as I walked in, which convinced me to introduce myself, explain I was a first timer. She gave me the run down. There was a $22 cover, $20ish common area, $120 for a semi-private room, $200 vip. I received a dance from her in a semi private room. While she was a good sales person, she respected my boundaries, and I likewise respected hers. As I am a dancer, I decided to show her a few of my own moves at the end. The manager there gave me a shoutout, calling me the current performer’s backup dancer. I don’t think I’ll be going again, just because I don’t think I want to make the habit of going to a strip club. However, I feel like going made me feel less scared of the world, and more open minded. And hopefully will allow myself to treat me with more self compassion. I’d recommend this joint, and believe that it is dignified, respect worthy based on my experience there. Your experience may not be the same; it’ll depend on your attitude, expectations, and the stripper you choose (although I’ll bet most of them are pretty good). I think this is a safe place to indulge in such an experience. Thanks Lucille for making my first time getting that close to a woman a positive one. And Rick’s as well, for never making me feel like I should be ashamed to be there.
Tatiana is an exceptional performer—gracious, genuine, and effortlessly engaging. The VIP experience with her is an absolute must, offering an exclusive and memorable evening. Her services are reasonably priced, providing unparalleled value for such a refined and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the very best.
(24 September 2022) I want to say something briefly about any hostile review written by a man about a strip club. A hostile review of a strip club by a man is a red flag. That is entitlement. That’s how it looks. Now don’t forget. Would anyone like to know what kind of harassments these women have to endure just to do this job? Is your complaint that the cover charge is too much?…that’s funny…would you like to know how much the cover charge is for strippers? Were you aware that strippers have to pay to work? Literally: "house", "dues", "stage fee"— It has many names and it is an industry standard and necessary business process. And the grim reality for strippers is this: if they don’t make any money they pay their employer for working that night. Think about that next time you complain about the cover. Enough about money. Let’s talk power. Has anyone thought about what it would be like to be spotlit on a stage and completely naked—which means completely vulnerable—while men, individuals and in groups, sit at an uncomfortable distance where you know they’re looking at you but they’re far enough away that you can’t make out any of their features, they are unrecognizable even if you knew them…this is a power imbalance that is the "cost of doing business" at a strip club. But I said imbalance. So, who has the power? Does the audience, or the dancer? How could she have it? She’s seven kinds of vulnerable: alone, exposed, inverted, outnumbered, naked, supplicated, and targeted. AND—she has the power. This is not only a dichotomy, it’s a paradox. If you think this is intuitive, you’re wrong. Being surrounded by beautiful forms that are all, at once, a fusion of both power and vulnerability is an absolute privilege. But If you can’t empathize with the literally traumatizing challenges that come with doing this job, I imagine you’re willfully trying not to. Because culturally, we all at least understand shared values that teach us to protect women, to treat them with deference and respect…so it’s curious to me how that is not only absent, but aggressively thrown away if the women that we are talking about happen to be occupationally identified as "strippers". I’m done. (22 August 2022) Home away from home. Management is always super cool. Be respectful. If you’re getting yelled at, you’ve done something wrong. Correct yourself, apologize, and keep tipping… ______________________________________ The dancers were sweet and attentive. Atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Cost of admission ($22 cash, $30 on card) UPDATED • coffee is well above average given the context • Men—be respectful, please. Every one of these girls deserves at least that from us all. • Buy them drinks! So look: private dances can be intimidating to ask for, and to perform and receive. But there is an alternative: you can buy them a drink. Price is $10-$20; they get to be still and relax; they get to hydrate; best of all for you: you get to talk to them*! Best of all for them: the money you spend on drinks reduces the amount they have to pay out. This, they will appreciate. *I know private dances are the gold standard, but I’ve always preferred the look of silver, so I find buying drinks way more satisfying.
