Cinemark University Mall

In December 2025, we visited the Cinemark University Mall in Orem, Utah. We saw the movie "Wicked for Good" and thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The Cinemark facility was clean and well-maintained, and provided a great movie-viewing experience. We hope to return to the Cinemark University Mall in the future, and have other great movie watching experiences.

The theater is nice, but if you’re using the app to order your concessions, don’t bother. We ordered them in advance to try to save time, having the pick up schedule 10 before the movies start time. We get there and it’s not ready and we’re told that it’ll only be a couple minutes, 20 minutes later they finally give us what we ordered. Only for the couple of modifications that we asked for to be ignored. Highly, HIGHLY don’t recommend the app whatsoever.

What’s up with the metal bars? I haven’t been here for a few years but they didn’t have these before. I get it’s probably for safety but the entire movie all I see is this bar. I tried to sit up as much as I could to avoid seeing it and it still was there. Unless you’re very tall this is all you see… Also it was way too loud even for a movie theatre.

The best Cinemark in the area. Super comfy seats with lots of space so you don't have people awkwardly squeezing past. The building is always clean and we'll maintained. I have the Cinemark membership as well. Took me a lot of years of loving here before I got it, and it's super worth it. Even if there aren't a lot of good movies coming out, it's nice to be saving the tickets for when a bunch of stuff comes out at once. Great way to "force" my wife and I to remember to go on regular dates.

I recently visited this theater to watch The Minecraft Movie, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Atmosphere & Experience: The venue itself has a fun and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort and enjoyment. Customer Service: The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and ensured everything ran smoothly. Their friendliness definitely made the experience even better. Pricing: I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was. Whether you're catching a movie or just spending time with friends, it's a great value for the price. Overall: I absolutely love this place. It's a fun, affordable, and friendly spot that I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good time at the movies. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Terrible experience. We went with our two sons to see a Japanese special movie, and yes, they got a bit restless, but instead of showing any understanding, a staff member kicked us out after someone complained. Super humiliating and unprofessional. On top of that, the kettle popcorn had a huge sugar chunk that almost cracked my tooth. I couldn’t even check properly because it was so dark inside. We’ll definitely never come back to this theater.

This location is almost always clean! I've enjoyed tons of movies here and have never had a bad experience! The main bathrooms have a ton of stalls so you won't have to wait for an open toilet. The staff is always kind and friendly! I would reccomend putting a second garbage can in the bathroom for used paper towels since it does get super full on occasion.
