Filthy Diamond

Everything is so great about this place except the music is WAY too loud, even if it’s good music, I’m not there to listen to loud music from speakers(more understandable if playing actual live music people go there to listen, like Jazz night is great). Please, turn down the speaker music. People are there to talk and enjoy a nice drink after work. Can’t even think. The only place I can sit and unwind is the backyard. You’re my best local bar and I would love to go after work and enjoy a drink or two, but I have hesitated more than a few times simply because of the volume of the speaker.

I'm very new in Brooklyn and chose this as the 1st bar/ restaurant for drinks, with a friend from Queens on my Bday thus October. It took a few stops in the L and a long walk or bus. It was a very dark, typical bar with a nice but too layed back bartender and 1 other customer for happy hour. This night, I felt no vibe whatsoever so would not be encouraged to return. The backyard was the best thing going.

I don’t live close but always try to support this spot when I can. Great outdoor space for the warmer months. Fun events too…chess club / live jazz!

I really like this bar! The bartender was amazing. I nicknamed him "Blondie". Thank you for all of your hard work. You definitely will be seeing us again.

I just had my wedding reception here and I cannot tell you how incredibly perfect it went. The staff, incredible, friendly, attentive, and kind. The space, charming, well decorated, and the backyard is absolutely lovely. The drinks, boozy, yummy, and in my hand essentially the second I needed one. Filthy Diamond might seem like just another neighborhood spot from the outside but we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our party. Best bang for your buck in Brooklyn. Stopped in for a quick drink and stayed for a couple. Love the draft beer options and looking forward to trying the cocktails. The spot is very cutely decorated. The music and the vibe were very chill. I can see myself going back.

i played chess here with an angel on the first night of the rest of my life! she bought me a cocktail with plum liqueur (purple rain i believe) and she got a beer and a shot. lovely sopranos pinball. i hope everyone comes here and has an equally life-altering night
