I've been to lots of fabric shops all over the country, and Gather Here is by far one of the most welcoming + fully stocked modern shops I've been to - just ever. I was there shopping for nearly two hours but could have easily stayed for longer. Next time I am in town I hope to rent some space to sit and sew as well. The music, inventory, ambiance, artwork, people - all pass the vibe check. Thank you to the owners for curating such an incredible space and community. Makes me wish I lived in Boston/Cambridge!

Gather Here is a fabric shop selling a wide range of fabrics and goods needed for any sort of homemade/DIY needs. They sell famous brands here for knitting, sewing, fabric making, and even clothing design. They have a rentable space in the back with tons of machinery that most people may not have in their home, allowing for usage of their space at reasonable prices and for long periods, ensuring that those can complete their projects as needed. They were also nice at helping out beginners or those looking to get into the hobby.

Great classes and fabric selection. The store and its classes have inspired me to learn so many new things. I also love the longarm quilting services. I've been coming for years and it still feels so magical walking in every single time. Theodore is just the cherry on top.

The most lovely craft shop I've ever been to. Molly was so sweet and taught me how to wind my yarn. She could not have been more supportive and welcoming. Love this place!

This store has such good and inviting energy as soon as you walk in! High ceilings, really colorful variety of artsy craft supplies and accessories. The yarn variety is okay, a lot of sock yarns, wool blends, cotton, but not a lot of lace weight fluffy yarn. However, everything in this store makes up for any yarn they don’t have. Local art including stickers, accessories, and cards. They also have a large space for classes, working on projects, and the entire back of the store is dedicated to sewing (totally out of my element but they have a ton of fabrics and sewing supplies). All around 5/5 in every way. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff here are insanely helpful and kind! Just called to get advice on the right crochet hook size for a project I’m working on and place an order for pick up and the staff member who picked up was so helpful and patient—the selection is amazing but the staff are what makes this the best knitting/sewing store in the Boston area! Thank you to whoever helped me just now!

Amazing selection, great service from knowledgable salespersons, anything and everything you would want from this kind of store. It is on the expensive side, but the selection is worth it. A maker paradise!
