Dancer took money for a dance and then went downstairs and came back and asked me to pay for a dance. She totally didn’t even care that I already paid. Some of the other dancers are fine but there is a definitely a problem with the way this place does business. You can be tipping the whole bar as they dance and they will give you a problem about nothing. Truly an unpleasant experience. Trust the reviews.

I had a bad experience here. I got one dance for $30 from a brunette dancer with a nose ring. I tipped her $10 at first, then added another $5 just to get her to stop pressuring me for more. Even after that, she kept insisting I go to the ATM to give her more money and wouldn’t leave me alone. It felt very pushy and uncomfortable. I ended up walking out. Definitely not the kind of experience I expected.

Came here with my friends my first week in nyc 15 years ago. This was before it was sold…just a bunch of bikers back then who were super nice. Still come back once a blue moon and not much has changed, always a good crowd and the bartenders are the sweetest (I see you Daddy). Maybe one of the most iconic places in Brooklyn.

I love strip clubs. I come not just with the intention to tip the girls a dollar as they go around, but to throw money. I love Pumps as an institution in the neighborhood, but last night was very bad and I believe my last time I’ll be coming to Pumps. My boyfriend has never been to Pumps, so I took him on Halloween night for his first time. We got there and the stage—for several minutes—was completely empty while the girls sat on the side and were on their phones. When they were on stage? Most of them CAN’T DANCE. There’s the bare minimum happening. The girls are beautiful, yes, but a lot of them can. not. dance. There were two or three girls that I threw money on because they could dance or at least were giving effort, but everyone else was pretty lackluster. We ended up leaving with half the money I exchanged, not including the other hundred that I didn’t bother to exchange because we were not entertained at all. It hasn’t been amazing the last few times I’ve been here and that’s okay, but it was pretty bad last night and I think my tries for having a good night at Pumps has run out. Shoutout to the few girls that did dance and do their thing tho.

Had a great time here. June, one of the dancers, kept our group well entertained the whole evening. She was absolutely lovely 💕Thanks for the fun night --- -1 star bc some dancers really do demand for tips for doing absolutely nothing. The girls asking for tips aren't friendly, aren't even presenting themselves or asking how are you, just straight up stare at u and ask for tips for existing and start getting mad and telling you " it's against the rules not to tip us, you can't do that " etc when its not our first or tenth rodeo .. Some need to fix their attitude.. U can't sit in a corner on ur phone, come up to us and beg for money, then get mad. Lot of potential customers wanna drop money but with these type of interactions it hinders it. Bad for business js

Girls are super hot, and they have all different types. No cover. You tip each girl a dollar when she's dancing on the stage. There is no expensive bottle or room service, just dances and drinks. Very laid back experience.

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday there with a friend and it was dope we had a great time lots of beautiful woman of course I found my fav their all pretty though calm setting good vibes I’ll definitely be back soon!
