The Escape Key

We did a murder mystery poker game escape room. We got in for free as a part of the get out pass, the regular price seemed a bit steep. It was a super fun time though! My main criticism was that the room was sorta ripped up by past groups. Aside from that it was a great time!

We did the Infiltration Room (Soviet Themed). It was acclaimedly the most difficult of the three, and definitely took some serious thought and team work. The room itself was well-designed. The only complaint I have would be the somewhat lousy upkeep of some of the clues and supplies (ex. Typewriter lettering, whiteboard markers, etc.). I would come back!

Overall, I wasn't extremely impressed. First, the location was really hard to find, there were no signs on the main road and we had to drive around trying to figure out where it was. We had 5 people in our group, and I felt very cramped as the room was so small. Everything seemed kind of old/needed a renovation. The thing that kind of soured the experience was the fact that multiple things in our room weren't working, and the employee knew they were broken, because he told us at the beginning. At one point we couldn't get the briefcase to open, we knew we had the right code but the briefcase lock was stuck/broken. We called out for help multiple times, but no answer. Finally the employee (who was really nice) came to get the briefcase to try and open it. It took him about 15 minutes to get it opened, meanwhile we were just sitting in the room, unable to continue. And the "bomb" at the end, the most exciting part, was also broken. We weren't able to finish the room because they didn't pause our timer, for something they knew wasn't working. I just don't think the price matched the quality of the experience we received.

Our group of four had an absolute blast in the CSI room! The puzzles were fantastic—cleverly designed and not just a series of locks. Despite a few dated items in the room, the riddles were so fun to solve that we didn't even notice. The staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire experience.

Did the infiltration room, clues were worn down and sloppy to the point you couldn’t read some, the room set up wasn’t fully completed and there was system issues to the point we couldn’t complete the last task. Bathroom facilities not clean and the whole building felt worn down and not unkept.

To use get out passes you have to call in….saw times open and tried to call in at 10 separate times throughout the day, also texted the number, AND left a voicemail just for them to finally answer the phone 48 hours into us calling and say everything is booked. Tragic, and not reliable. Would not plan on them communicating well 😭😭😭

Had a great time with our kids in the Infiltrated room! It was their first time doing an escape room and they have already asked to do one again!
