Southern Nights TAMPA

8/24/2024 around 2:15am - I went to the restroom to throw up not because I was drunk but because I suffer from a personal matter. The security guard pulled me out by the shirt from the stall, took my drink and dumped it in the trash (the only one I bought from the bar barely touched), and threw me out of the club and told me "you’re done!" He didn’t bother to ask if I was ok. He just assumed that I was drunk because I was throwing up. I’ve never felt so discriminated in my life! And the manager was no help at all. Just stood there and looked away. The staff here have a power trip. Avoid this place and don’t waste your money!

Nice staff and perfect for early shows! Staff has been updated since a few years ago and now they have amazing shows back to back. I purchased a ticket and was able to stay for all three shows. Then it got a little too packed with people so I moved on.

This is my second home. I've been coming here regularly for 4 years. It's not the most elegant, but the vibes are always good, and I've met the best people in the world there. At a bar, it's 100% about management and staff, and they're always very nice. They have circuit music, hip hop, electric, Latin, depends on the night and crowd.

My girls and I went to the bathroom after we paid for all night drinks. A bouncer followed us INTO the bathroom and accused us of drinking the drinks we PAID FOR in the bathroom and kicked us out. A bouncer then continuously followed us multiple blocks and haggled us. Seemed like a fun place but the staff was extremely rude.

Drinks are horrible, I don't have problem with weak drinks. Just want the liquor I ordered and decent soda. The bartender are rude, yes the majority. Atmosphere is all focused on dancing or drag show. It's sad because G-Bar was my spot in my early 20s. I have tried several times over the years to make this place work, and it never does. If you are not A list club kid this place treats you like trash.

Had a blast! First time here and I love the two sides. It is a bit tight on the door side and sometimes unbearable however, take a breather on the other side and jump back into the dance floor later. Amazing bartenders and drinks, great drag shows, great go go dancers. Overall 9.5 out of 10!

This place seen 3 shows. They were awesome. Bartender was the best. Had so much fun. Worth every penny
