The Alley

The Alley is a nice space to hang out with friends late night. They had ample security in case something happened. The music was good. They had enough bar tenders and you didn't have to wait a long time for a drink. Also they have a line at the bar, so it's clear who was there first and you don't disturb those who are sitting at the bar. That's genius! The DJ that Friday night played relevant dance music and we danced all night. I was out celebrating a birthday and we had a blast.

Just wanted to say i went out to the alley last with a friend for her birthday. It was extremely hot in there for the amount of people that was in the club. I was standing by the dance floor and all of a sudden i passed out I was not even drunk.The security guards were sorry as hell, i explained and said my friend was bringing me water they still proceeded to kick me out the club with no water or anything. Also the security guard got rough with me for no reason, do better Alley y'all trifflin as hell

very shady business. it’s a fun ratchet time i’ll admit but that’s all it is. they get mad at paying customers who may post about what’s going on in there rather than at the people who are in there actually fighting, doing drugs, etc or even their security who seems to never be around when this stuff is going down . the manager E is very rude. their security might as well be non existent the way people keep getting beat up in there

This place is definitely a party spot and really delivered the night club experience we were looking for…. Be prepared to have a good time. They had security and law enforcement there inside and out

Coming from Richmond it was a super different vibe and everyone was extremely lit the vibes was good the people were nice and the drinks were on point definitely will be traveling back to turn up again

I’ve lived in Newport News for 3 years and never went to the Alley…I was foolish not going before. If you’re looking for cheap drinks and a good time. Head over to the Alley. Just prepare for the environment to be Smokey. Did not bother my party at all

Live! Two separate areas to enjoy the music and crowd of your choice. You're welcome to leisurely saunter between the two. Happy hour prices are darn near free and worth the money. The food is delicious! There is plenty of seating. Perfect for a lounge party! Memberships are available! I visited while on vacation in June; going back in October! Note: on the 35+ side; order drinks by their names, not by the ingredients. You'll thank me later 😊
