I love this place!! The drinks were amazing and the food was great too! The atmosphere is the best part- it's so cozy and lively <3 The absolute BEST place to host events or grab a drink!

Halo is my regular spot! I love it here so much! The bartenders Eric and Alex are the best and make AMAZING drinks! Kyle is such a kind and caring owner! I brought my girls here one night and they had a blast! Alex played Latin music for us and we danced and drank all night! Truly recommend this gem in Oceanside for all my LGBTQA+ peeps and my str8 allies!

An amazing place! Kyle, the owner is the sweetest, friendliest guy ever. You can tell he has a lot of love and passion both for his business and the LGBT+ community. If you're in the area, PLEASE come visit. It's a blast

The hospitality and service at Halo Oceanside is absolutely amazing! The owner Kyle went above and beyond and made sure I had everything I needed and even went out his way to make sure my large group was fully accommodated. They also have one of the best bartenders in the business working the bar. Alex greeted me as soon as I walked in and not a moment went by where she didn’t make sure the drinks was flowing for my friends and I. Customer service and management is top notch. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

I am straight and came with my wife and the atmosphere was so welcoming and nice. The drinks are phenomenal and the bartender Eric is very kind. The owner Kyle is an amazing person. Definitely come here!

I've been coming to Halo since it opened. Previously we had a blast. Great events, great crowd, loved every minute of the experience. The past several months, every time we've come to Halo has been a disorganized mess. Events are advertised, but then are cancelled or not happening properly at the last minute. If it does happen, it's messy. Drag Show, Karaoke, Trivia, etc. It's a disappointment every time I walk in these days. The bar staff is amazing, and most nights I've stayed because of the bartenders and atmosphere. But after this last disappointment, I'm looking to go somewhere else. It's a shame having a queer bar in my neighborhood that has no interest in building and keeping their community.

Bar is pretty. Looks like it could be a fun place. It’s one of the only two LGBTQ+ bars on Long Island, so I’d like it to stay open. But, there are improvements that need to be made. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. The drinks are way overpriced. One beer costs 10 dollars plus tax and a credit card fee. A cocktail will set you back at least 13 plus tax and fee. So, one round ends up costing you at least $25 plus tip. Manhattan rooftop prices! The owner was more concerned about responding to a bad review, than welcoming his customers. I wonder what will be said about me, after hearing the terrible words he used to describe the customer who left the bad review! His behavior made me very uncomfortable. I wish this was a welcoming place to frequent. I hope my review might show them how to get things right. I expect to be called the "C" word and "B" word by him , but I hope he’ll be more professional and use this to make his business as successful as I would like it to be. As it stands now, it hurts me to say, I cannot recommend Halo.
