Showbar Ybor

you wouldn’t believe how much fun we had here despite only being able to stop in for a few minutes. the blonde bartender was literally so adorable and kind and gave us the best sour starburst shot EVER, we could not stop raving about it on the drive home. I was obnoxiously drunk by the time we hit Showbar and they still just laughed with me, let me take pics of the liquors they used, and helped me write the rest down so I can make the drink on my own time, and took pics of us together. plus, super cute hats/headbands lying around for the sillies. thanks for being so so lovely and making my birthday extra sweet.

Margaux is the absolute BEST bartender that’s why she has all these reviews I’m telling you —> if you pop out go see her she takes care of all her customers every time I see her it’s unforgettable. And she’s a beautiful lady.

We come to this bar whenever we come to ybor it’s always a vibe. Last night Ashley was our cocktail waitress she was so sweet to our group and her customer service was great!. It was soo much fun!

One of the best bottomless brunch experiences in Tampa!! Definitely check them out for an amazing drag Queen show, as the energy there is fire! The bar staff are fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had there with a larger group of friends! This is such a vibe that you can only understand it by going yourself! The outside area is super cute and parking on the street is very easy. Definitely call and make reservations for events!

I went one Saturday night with some friends and was deeply underwhelmed by the experience. But then again its Ybor, so cant expect much. First, the bathrooms were disgusting; smelled bad and there was water on the floor. There was also a MAN posing as a woman keeping guard/pressuring you to tip him for doing nothing. Not a good look. Second, this place tries waaay to hard to make you enjoy it. There were free glasses/hats/diadems/glass holders being given to the crowd, but it just came off as desperate. Prices are ridiculous (maybe if they didn't give so much free stuff, they could have better pricing), and the liquor selection was subpar. Not coming back.

I unfortunately had a bad experience here. The stage area near the DJ is VIP only which regrettably my group didnt know before coming. The staff were actually very nice about it but the person who I believe bought the area was not. He cussed my male members out, made a targeted remark to one of our larger females, and threatened to harm us unless we left. All this occured even though we were actively leaving the moment staff explained. I feel as if this should have been enough for security to deal with him, especially because we weren't the only ones who had this happen. Its a shame that as a group we payed over $200 to be there and felt the need to leave because we felt unsafe. :/
