The staff and bartenders are very friendly and nice! Patrons are also friendly. The happy hour $2.25 shrimp tacos are good. They come in orders of four. Drinks are okay. Lively atmosphere and good music. You need a code to get into the bathroom.

Came here a couple of times & had a good time. Usually Jake serves me and he gives me a great experience. But tonight he wasn’t there. Today I went and I had on my prescribed glasses with red tint on the first 60+ degree day in NY/ NJ. Upon arrival , the server meets me at the door and checks my ID. (No problem, I’m 33) Checks it and says you can’t wear sunglasses in the bar. I tell him they are prescribed… tells me I have to show him my prescription to get in… I will never come to this bar again. I felt very discriminated against and felt like this was his way of finding a way not to serve me. Even if it isn’t, I feel like there could’ve been a better approach and understanding. Especially because there was a guy in the back with sunglasses. I even showed him pictures of me wearing glasses and they wasn’t enough. I am so disappointed. This is one of the bars I bring friends to since I’m a new resident to NJ.

Classic spot! Great outdoor seating in the front - in the winter it’s enclosed with heaters. Awesome for sitting outside but staying warm. Good bar food, better than most. The fries are a must order.

Decided to come around noon to try their 8.95 breakfast special and was helped by Allen. He was pleasant and respectful. The store is clean, bright and breezy during the day and makes you forget about how dirty grove street area is! The burrito was filling and came with crispy home fries AND they offered free coffee which was decent! They even had oat milk. You really can’t beat the price especially in this area

We come here for food typically but decided to finally try Martini Wednesdays. Writing this review SOLELY because I was surprised (in a great way) that Fiona chilled our glasses before pouring our martinis. Beyond that, always a great spot for food and now we will be coming OFTEN for drinks.

Amazing!! I love this place. Been here twice, and the staff is always friendly, and kind. Food is affordable and delicious. Can't reccomend this place enough! 11/10

A great spot for lunch... the place has a good vibe and the food is good. The service is great; we were served by Fiona who was a great host!
