Gabriel's Downtown

Gabriel's downtown is one of the best bars I've ever been to. The bartenders and door person are always so kind and friendly. The drinks are fixed accurately and quickly. If I could I'd give this bar 10 stars.

Not impressed. The bartender barely spoke to me,she looked as though she was mad at the world. She rudely yelled last call. I tipped her well anyway on my one drink. She looked at the receipt right in front of me & said nothing. A thank you, have a good night would’ve gone a long way. No desire to return to a place that would put a witch to bartend.

I did a show at B-Bob's bar and wanted to try this bar out they would not let me in because I didn't have a ID. The money they missed out on. I am 38 years old and I believe they should be able to tell who is too young and who is old enough. I would not give them any starts. I believe the owner need to get with B-Bops and lean the performer. Sorry y'all got a bad review. Maybe y'all will learn how to tell who is to young by looking at the face.

This is an LGB bar. Know that before going in. If you are trans or non binary, the staff will treat you extremely poorly. I've never received more bigoted comments than the time I've gone here. One of the (straight) bouncers genuinely tried to start a fight with me so I left. But if you're a bigot like the staff it's probably very nice.

It's a great all-inclusive bar with a hell of a history! The staff is so welcoming, the owner is over the top friendly (til he doesn't need to be from what I heard lol). This will be my new go to local bar.

We came in for my bday celebration, the vibe was great, and the drinks were perfect! The karaoke DJ didn't judge when I requested to sing Deepthroat by Cupcake! And shout out to the group of youngins that hyped me up! 🫶

Very rude staff. Weird crowd -- asked if I sold drugs and which drugs by drunk, drugged out patron. 5 minutes later, I was told by a manager "people say you're weird. Stop being weird or leave." I fled. Stephen King novel gay bar. Dirty, dingy, gross and full of island of misfit toys. $16 for a single shot as well. Suspect my price was "special". Unfriendly, rude, gross. #avoid. Unless you seek being degraded.
