Steak was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes are to die for!!! Pleasantly surprised bc a good steak is hard to come by at a cafe/bar! The oyster poboy was also delicious with a heaping amount of oysters and fries! Bathroom is on 2nd floor and you must take the stairs. They have 3 levels that includes covered outdoor seating, a dance floor and rooftop bar! I’ll be back to enjoy the vibes-looks like they have a lot of fun!
Good spot to grab a drink. We sat outdoors and the bartender Eli was awesome! He dealt with a situation with a rowdy couple that threw water at him and he handled it well. Nachos took a bit to come out but food was good!
First time here and we really enjoyed it. We had drinks and apps - crab dip, buffalo shrimp, calamari, and onion rings. All very good. The bartender, Eli, was great! We will definitely be back next time we're in town.
All of our meals were delicious, as well as the appetizers. Everything came out in a timely manner. It's also in such a great area to stroll around.
The atmosphere of this place is so fun. Went out for a girls night and the DJ up on the roof top was fabulous. However, I ordered a drink from a gentleman behind the bar (a high noon), and my mistake I forgot to preface I couldn't have the pineapple flavor due to an allergy (im usually good about stating that before hand but it slipped my mind). I called him back over, let him keep about $10 in cash as a tip and kindly said "Im so sorry I should have told you I am allergic and cannot have this flavor, totally my fault." This man proceeded to glare at me, roll his eyes and angrily stomped back over to the fridge to get me another flavor and didn't utter a word when he slid it to me on the bar. Usually I don't leave reviews at all, much less poor ones. But this man truly ruined my night and made me feel as though it was my fault I had an allergy and made me feel even worse for making the small mistake of forgetting to tell him (the bar was busy, i was trying to take up the least time possible). Anyways, great place, everyone else was wonderful - it was just this one employee. Not sure if he wanted my tongue to swell and me to pass away in the middle of the DJ set or what??
Thought we’d try it for a first time, not too busy. But why is the hostesses greeting and serving tables in sweat pants and crop tops? I mean I know it’s a bar but it seems unprofessional. Good beers on tap nice bartender but service was slow. Seemed to be super busy I get it it’s Saturday and could be understaffed, still unsure why no one’s in uniform / or any type of formal wear surving guests. But the kolsch was delightful. It’s only 8:00 and it seems a little hectic.
I enjoyed my oyster po boy with Remoulade sauce and fries. Our server was excellent, attentive and very helpful. It was raining, so we ate inside, which was fine. In a past visit, I can attest to the charm of the outdoor area.
