Chicago Comics

While in the area, I decided to look for some comic shops. I found this shop and decided to peruse their selection. Having an understanding wife helps. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and the gentleman asked what we were looking for. I perused the wall books first and found something right away. He then had an employee go to their basement to find some other books I asked about. While they didnt have everything I wanted, they did have a lot. I asked if I could go into the basement to look around, but to no avail. Overall, it was a fantastic shop with a huge selection. We will be back when we are in Chicago again!

I had an appointment yesterday for Chicago Comics to review and potentially purchase a small lot of comics I wanted to divest from. The manager was training a younger looking employee (perhaps his son) which was cool to see. He looked over my comics and checked prices for a few of the keys. He offered me a fair price for the lot after a brief discussion and accepted my slightly higher counter. I asked for store credit and began shopping right away! Thanks for the great experience fellas!

Phenomenal shop!! We drove from the Midway area just to make a visit for our Christmas list

Always such a nice vibe whenever I get the opportunity to stop by. The staff is phenomenal and offer a robust selection with professionalism and a friendly neighborhood attitude. The backstock bucks always keep me coming back and the collections of single issues in value packs is a great way to pick up a whole unique story, perfect for new and old collectors alike.

I've been going here now since mid way of last year. This is hands down the best comic book store in the chicago area. Great selection of both recent comics and older back issues. Definitely recommend

Great shop chock full of cool stuff!

I can’t even tell you how much this store has become my favorite part of a weekly routine. It is a comic shop that has charm, character and friendliness that not many do anymore. Their staff is wonderful and their variety is always top notch. The backstock bucks are amazing if you spend $50+, and the sale section is pretty unreal for deals too! Check them out if you haven’t!
