My two-year-old and I had a wonderful time at Legoland, especially visiting on Christmas Eve when it was pleasantly uncrowded. The opening exhibits feature an impressive level of detail, beautifully showcasing Chicago’s beloved landmarks. The upstairs area was the highlight of our visit, offering plenty to explore and enjoy. I also appreciated that the café carried select Starbucks options alongside food. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend visiting on a quieter day—we can’t wait to return.

We had an amazing time at LEGOLAND ! There are so many activities for kids - playground areas, a cinema, fun attractions, and even a train ride. My kids had so much fun and are already asking to go back again. Definitely worth visiting!

Another review described this place as underwhelming and I have to agree, it's a very precise word. I wouldn't give it a 1 or 2 star rating because, for what it is, it's not AWFUL but we left feeling faintly disappointed (but okay, my 3 year old had a blast so that does count for something). If you do go, make sure to make use of every single thing they have (the 4D cinema, the rides, etc). The place was quiet, which worked in our favor, but you seldom seen staff and tend to need to wait for food, a ride, the cinema etc until a worker shows up. All in all I'd say it's ideal for toddlers but nothing beyond that age wise.

Not worth the price, so small and really nothing to do, the rides are cute and small, but there’s only two. My 20 month old enjoyed the playground but it was so crowded. They can definitely have more fun at a public library. Nice and kind staff

For the past 12 years we have been visiting legoland discovery center. We try to take our kids at least once a year. After about 2 hours they are pretty much done however I try to engage them in building structures and working together to come up with unique builds. I would like to see the center try something like this for older kids aka a build challenge or scavenger hunt build. The place hasn't changed much over the years but they make small adjustments and improvements. The rides are always a family favorite. Bring back the kids meal lego boxes, thats the only reason most ppl buy food from here fyi. Also looking for the original lego red and blue cups for kids.

My Son’s and mine experience was Awesome. From the time we walked in until the time we left everyone was so Friendly. I was going to buy the tickets online but I wasn’t sure what came with what ticket so I waited until I arrived and the gentleman helped me. I think I enjoyed it more than my son. It was well above my expectations. I would highly recommend going.

My son genuinely enjoyed himself. We purchased passes... However, my wife and I found it a little expensive for what was available. They have a 3D movie, some virtual reality goggles and a single ride. Outside of that are some fairly impressive lego displays (city of Chicago and Jungle), play areas and a small lego shop.
