Santikos Palladium has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 6213 reviews on Google
I bought tickets online to see the movie Sketch at the Palladium Santikos and honestly forgot about them but shout out to Santikos for sending me an email reminder! That reminder got me up and out to the movies, and I’m so glad it did. We scored a great ticket deal online (buy a child’s ticket, get an adult free), so our tickets were about $13 total. Snacks were surprisingly reasonable too! We got the $5 large popcorn bucket, a pretzel, and a large ICEE for about $18. Comfortable recliner seating made it even better. They also have an arcade and both an upstairs and downstairs bar area if you want adult beverages. Overall, a great spot for family time or date night. The theater is clean, stylish, and located in The Rim; a nice shopping area with plenty to do. Highly recommend!
It is a nice theater. What is very concerning is the movie previews. We went to see the F1 Movie PG-13 and I had to walk out of theater because they kept showing demonic and satanic worship previews in upcoming movies. There were children in the theater. It was very heartbreaking to see the carelessness to expose children things they would be exposed to at home. So parents and grandparents be warned. Don’t go to the movies on time, if you do wait until the previews finish showing. Call and ask the length of the previews before the movie(s) and contact the studio to share your concerns for the previews before movies. The manager said the previews are selected by the movie studios.
I recently visited the Santikos Palladium, and it instantly became one of my favorite movie going experiences. The moment you walk in, the place feels grand beautiful décor, spacious layout, and a vibe that makes the whole outing feel special. The seating was incredibly comfortable, and the sound and picture quality were top‑tier. It’s the kind of theater where you can actually relax and get fully immersed in the movie. I also loved the food and drink options. What really stood out was how clean and well‑maintained everything was.
It was my first time to visit and I probably won’t return if it’s my choice. The seating was great and the screen and sound were good. However, the overall feel lacked personable. First we were subjected to bag checks. Ok. I get that. I guess. But a little invasive. Next, we were ‘helped’ by a person to purchase snacks, but they didn’t speak except to ask: if I wanted the small popcorn or the tiny popcorn that came with a small drink, to tell me the amount I owed and then that they don’t accept cash. These statements were short and robotic. Then, I had to get my own popcorn and find out on my own where the drinks were. It’s a good thing I had someone with me or else I would have made a scene and left. I guess I shouldn’t expect much from places that sold out to as much "contactless service" as this place did. Except of course to look in my purse. It was cold, rude and functionally set up to take your money and send you on your way.
The seats all recline and are staged in a way that you can easily see over the chairs in front of you. Picture quality and sound system are magnificent. People occasionally bring small blankets because the temperatures are cooler inside. You purchase your own tickets in the evening at a kiosk. Security is on-site and your bags will be checked upon entry.
The theater was okay, but no wow factor! I was expecting more because of the location and size, but it's nothing to write home about. Don’t get me wrong, it's a nice Theater, and the prices seemed reasonable, compared to any other cinema. The reclining seats were in good condition (no ripped, worn, or missing material/fabric). The tray tables were all operational and in good working condition. The place needs a proper wipe down and shampooing of carpets. Screen & sound quality were also good. Parking is crazy so come early. The area has a plethora of businesses surrounding the theater, so that's a plus as well.
I went to see the new Mercy movie with my dad and my uncle, and when I walked in, everything initially seemed nice and in order. The first thing I noticed, however, was managers being disrespectful to their employees by telling them to "get on a register," only to then turn around and start talking on their phones or texting. As someone who has managed several businesses in the past and worked in many different places, that kind of behavior from management should not occur. After ordering our food and drinks, I went to the side to put some cheese on the pizza I had just purchased, and the counter was covered in butter and extremely sticky. I then went to the refreshment station to fill my drink and use that counter instead, but to my surprise, it was even stickier. It was disgusting. I went into the theater trying to forget what I had seen, but then I noticed that the seats—advertised as "Luxury Recliners"—were torn up, and the table was missing. This was especially disappointing considering I paid extra for AVX seating. I went to tell an employee who was waiting by the exit about the seat and missing table, but he did not respond and simply looked at me as I walked away. I left the theater disappointed and will likely be going to Regal or Cinemark from now on. Edit: 3 days later. I came back to see if anyone had responded to this review I wrote on the terrible experience to see if anyone from Santikos had reached out yet as I heard from a family friend that they might reach out and try to make things right as maybe my experience was a fluke. However I can clearly see that the Santikos Team clearly only responds to good reviews as all 1-3 star reviews remain unresponded to, whereas the 4-5 star reviews are responded to daily with a thank you. This is very frustrating and shows that they clearly don't aim to provide the best movie-watching experience as they claim they do. And instead just want to receive praise for all of the "Great" work they do. Very Aggravating @Santikos...
