Fantastic experience with so many options of everything! I went looking for vintage albums and CDs for my son and found so many! Tons of books in every genre from romantasy, to gardening, to video game strategy. So many video games too on almost every platform. 10/10 would recommend the trip!

You can trade in items for cash or in-store credit. Lots of variety, retro gaming, retro toys, books, movies, music and board games. Theres also a bin for MTG, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The ventilation in the store is something to be wary about though, I get overheated or dizzy if I stay too long, granted this could be a me problem, but it's happened every time I wander for too long here. My only complaint is that prices are still a bit expensive for some items, despite being used. Today, I was looking for the Blu-ray Sailor Moon R movie, it was $18.95 for a used copy, but a brand new copy online is $19.13 (as of this post). Obviously, some other used items are fairly cheap. Prices can really range depending on what you're looking for. Overall, I love coming here, but its worth checking prices online for your preference.

Oh wow. First time visit. Ran way short on time. And space in the cart! There's so much to see and review. Left with 25 books and that was only from two shelves. Can't wait to get back.

This place is massive! Two full floors of stuff. Downstairs has tons of books organized by category, plus sections for video games, toys, and electronics. There's also an area where you can trade in your used items for cash or store credit. Upstairs has all the music and movies, plus manga, anime, and an RPG section (though that one was pretty picked over, which makes sense since that stuff sells fast). One minor annoyance: several people were camped out scanning items on their phones to check eBay prices, presumably to resell. I counted at least five different people doing this, and they'd stay in one spot for several minutes blocking the aisles. Kind of disrupts the flow when you're trying to browse. Other than that, great experience. I can't stress enough how huge this place is. It's like wandering through a giant library. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

McKays is probably my favorite store in the city. I’ve bought and sold more books here over the past 13 or 14 years than I can count. I don’t always find everything I go there looking for, but I almost always find some of what I go there for and a few more things too. I used to get movies here a lot but as I’ve kind of retired from getting DVD’s I’m almost exclusively here for books, since I just can’t jump on the ereader train.

Love this place! My husband and I try to come every other Saturday and we always find so many books! Although I will say some of the pricing doesn't make sense. I noticed they have definitely increased their prices recently. They also price books that are damaged the same as book with a better condition, I definitely feel like they should price it accordingly. For example, a book will have a new price at $18 and they will sell it for $16. Although on the upside they have vintage books from the 90s that are good quality and a good price. We definitely love this place!! And will continue coming!
