The Book House in Dinkytown

I literally just wandered in here on a day where I needed some peace. And left with the largest haul of incredible books, and a rare one of a kind signed one as well, on sale! I got like 9 books and didn’t break 100. Also the guy that helped me was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and had the most relaxing energy. 10/10 incredible book store.

For a long time this has been the best bookstore in the Cities. The selection is always impressive and the prices are always reasonable. The owner is also a really kind guy. I always go whenever I have the chance.

I went to the Book House today during my lunch break and had an awesome time! The selection of books is incredible, prices are more than fair, and the employees are very welcoming. I can't wait to go back when I have more time to spend browsing.

Easily my favorite used bookstore in the Twin Cities. I can't even begin to tell you how many unique/rare titles I've been able to find here that were not available at other bookstores. The staff are very cool and helpful and they offer super reasonable and fair prices for buying books. The space is OVERFLOWING with character. I cannot recommend this bookstore highly enough, do yourself a favor and go check it out (and then check it out again, and again, and again).

Really cool used bookstore! They have some really nice 1st edition prints and it’s really well maintained with cute wall stickers all the way around!!

Great place to get cheap books! I love to read math, history, law & language books and I've gotten plenty of great texts here over the years.

lovely lovely used bookstore! HUGE selection, and well organized! I could spend hours in a store like this, and there were so many great discoveries here! reasonable priced books as well
