Cruised by on a rainy day, needed a book to read in a bar and quickly found this in the dollar bin. (It’s an excellent detective novel so far with good descriptions of the neighborhood.) I’m intrigued by the shop’s display of Palestinian history and admire their dedication to it. I’ll be back.

The bookstore is hard to miss on Fulton, has a vast selection of books and is truly an independent bookstore. It is small so no sitting tea but holds a ton of books and you will enjoy the feel of being in a cozy bookstore.

Excellent shop. From the same cooperative owners of Book Thug Nation on N3rd in Williamsburg. Specializing here in literature, poetry, foreign language, science fiction, philosophy, radical politics, history, pulp, etc. Great vibes and always interesting finds.

Really nice selection of philosophy and Marxism at good prices as well. The philosophy is on a couple large shelves. There are also good books on radicalism scattered throughout other related sections. Finally, there is a good selection of old pamphlets and zines, some of which are political as well.

Great book selection and it seems like they’re always playing The Fall when I come in, which I love.
