Friends and I went to Dave's and Buster's before we went to see the fireworks. We were hungry, so we ate those delicious foods. I asked the service boy, and he understood what I wanted, it's really perfect! I'm definitely going to eat there again. Hope they will do the same thing and stay delicious like champions! 🤙🏼
I just had the best customer service experience at Dave & Buster's this evening. I have been employed in most every environment thinkable within the food and beverage and hospitality industry over the last 25 years. The manager, Erik, bartender, the lovely Rye (like the whiskey), and London, all put forth an extreme effort and went above and beyond to help me best navigate my Saturday night in Boise while waiting for a friend. They showed great patience with me, poise, commitment to their profession, and I can't think of anything else they could have done to better represent their corporation, their co-workers, and their community. I am very grateful.
I liked the waitress, atmosphere and games. I don’t like how they include your game cards in your total on check, making you tip 20% on game cards. Makes no sense, tip should be off service only and not game play cards. Smash burger isn’t really a smash burger at all. Regular patty not smashed or seared, & that falls apart. Will come again in future just not going to be a local spot for me.
Dave and Busters is awesome! Great fun, great food, great service! Its the only place you don't hear about politics only sports. Family friendly i bring my son here every week. Thanks Dave and Buster staff for the great experience
The staff are super friendly and run this place pretty tight, this is like my 20th visit or something, too many to count. Love the drinks and the games, food is great. I have never had a bad time here. As long as the games are updated once in a while I'll keep coming back.
Ok spot for a good time. Games are in good shape and the restaurant is nice and clean. A bit pricey with games costing anywhere from 7-13 tokens - for context, a $35 power card comes with 200 tokens. We ran out of tokens pretty quick. Food - we ordered spinach dip and fried pickles to start. Both came out quick and were tasty. Fried pickles should have their own dipping sauce though. We had two burgers, the Dave’s double and a smokehouse. Both were delicious. The smoke house comes with Brisket and BBQ sauce and it was well cooked and full of flavor. Kids ordered boneless wings which came out overcooked. The portion was generous though. We also had 6 alcoholic beverages and two lemonades. And a $75 power card. Total came out to $330 and some change. We were there for roughly two hours.
I wanted to share some feedback from our first visit to Dave and Buster’s last night because if I were responsible for managing this location, I would genuinely want to know. Our server was friendly and polite throughout the evening. The challenges felt more like breakdowns in communication and overall service flow rather than an attitude issue. We sat at the bar and waited about 15 minutes before being greeted. It was a Monday night and the restaurant did not appear busy, with several staff members visible throughout the space, which is part of why the delay stood out to us. When we did order, we weren’t informed about any specials and weren’t given a full menu. I had to go to the front desk to ask for one. We asked if we could leave our drinks and food while we played games and were told yes. When we stepped away briefly, our drinks were cleared even though my drink was mostly full and I had only taken a few sips from it. They were not offered to be replaced. Instead, we were asked if we would like to order additional drinks after happy hour. When we requested to swap our fries, we were told it was handled, but the kitchen wasn’t aware of the change and the original fries came out. The charge also wasn’t adjusted. We also had to find a busser to place an additional order, and at one point I had to grab napkins from the other side of the bar after our wings arrived. The food itself was decent. It was really the overall service experience that made the night feel frustrating, especially given the price point. I’m sharing this simply because there seemed to be multiple breakdowns in communication and attentiveness. With some adjustments in those areas, the guest experience could be much stronger. Thank you for taking the time to read this
