We love it here! My son squeals every time we go back to the children’s section. Always very reasonable prices and kind staff.
Spent the entire day at this treasure find of a bookstore with a wide array of selections to include local authors. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly with top tier customer service from the owner and staff. To add to the ambience, there is the Tastefully Philly Cafe on the premises that serves a refreshing mango strawberry lemonade, tasty and fresh food options such as chicken or chick pea salad and desserts like the banana pudding that is a must try. Overall, a chef's kiss of a bookstore worth experiencing and a small business worthy of support.
I'm in LOVE with this place, y'all! The selection of books is insane and there's even a cafe inside. This bookstore is very local author friendly, as I was there for a book signing event (yep, my book...I'm an author; Indigo Sun by Shantel Day). Bookish events are in the works, so please check them out on Facebook and stop in if you're on the peninsula, to fulfill all your reader (and lunch) needs!
The best bookstore in the area! I was very impressed with how nice everything looked, inviting yet professional. There is a much wider selection than normally seen at independent bookstores as they have both new and used books. Prices are good and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You will be glad you came!
I'm so glad I came here. Not your average "used" bookstore. This place is lovely and the gals who were working were very nice and very knowledgeable. I just moved here. They have new and used books...however, the used books are mostly in brand new condition, but sold at amazing prices. They have bundles like 4 for $20. And a very very cute display outside with various books all wrapped up as a gift. Each book is marked with book genre so you can pick a great gift for that particular person! Loved it here. Will be back.

It’s a nice enough store to buy used books at low prices, but I wouldn’t recommend donating your books here. I donated a few books and was met with a weird, off energy that wasn’t appreciative and made me regret giving it the second I handed it over instead of selling my books to 2nd and Charles where at least I would’ve gotten enough credit to buy a book or three. I was promised a 10% discount for my donation and never got it on my purchase. Whatever. It was just the most unwelcoming exchange that I just wanted to leave and count the loss as a future discernment. I walked out feeling cheated and it’s sat with me for weeks after the purchase. It’s not about not getting something out of it, but just the way they were. I’m all for supporting small businesses, but it was just the weirdest energy ever and didn’t even feel good supporting their business. I took the many books I donated as a loss since I simply just did not want to be bothered going back there to reverse the donation (plus the idea alone seemed backwards), but unless their attitude changes in the near future, I just would not recommend donating to their business.
